"But if you like Gundam X, you already know you picked a tough road in life and I feel for you man." Truer words have never been spoken but why you gotta do me like that? Being neglected is a way of life for Gundam X fans. But yeah, it has close to zero representation in Gunpla exhibits; you get the odd Turn A/X kits once in while and the recent release of the RG God has rekindled G Gundam's spark, MG Age units have gotten critical praise. I can only dream that with the success of the HGAC Shelong, the possibility of a good HGAW Virsago can be realized (who am I kidding?) While the MG X and Double are decent, it NEEDS to be EXCEPTIONAL to get the attention of even the most hardcore gunpla builders. It's pretty sad that most the popular X variant is the Helios (and that is hybrid from popular series SEED) and the backpack is an experiment that yielded mixed results; kinda like the meme "I'm a healer but..." is more popular than the actual show itself.

Man, Airmaster is one of my favorite Gundams. And I'm a huge Gundam X fan. It definitely needs more love and recognition.

You poor soul, Bandai always neglects X fans... They always end up doing everything half way and then suddenly stopping (where's my HGAW Gundam Leopard, Bandai!?)

I’m buying this and the leopard da Vinci

The Leopard da Vinci is such a nice kit -- even though that makes it sadder that it's so good but still not the full Leopard

I have the original 1/144 , HG 1/100, and the SD versions of the Airmaster. I want to get this version and the P-Bandai HG 1/144 Airmaster Burst some day. I would also like to see this in MG form and more HG kits for the Gundam X series. I like transforming Gundams.

Glad you enjoyed the video:) The Airmaster is pretty different from most other kits, so I hope you like the kit if you decide to get one

Did the Gundam airmaster get a recall due an error on the kit?

Do you know what the peg hole in the back is for? It’s underneath the backpack that holds the plane mode cockpit and because of that it is always covered up by the cockpit or it’s joint

Will you guys do the Airmaster Burst too? Lets goooo

I'd love that too though I don't have one, unfortunately. Someday... If P-Bandai sells another run of it...

also i always wonder what the cutout triangle is in the back of the manual? what is it for
@HobbyClubhouse4 жыл бұрын
Those are actually "proof of purchase" flags. It says on the instructions that you can cut them and submit them if there's a relevant campaign, so maybe Bandai might do mail-in applications but need you to buy specific model kits or something. They really were used back then for quite a few lucky draws (only in Japan of course)
@Kenny_F913 жыл бұрын
Small fix to such a lightly armed kit would've just been to add pegs to the rifles. When Bandai is lazy, it is shamefully obvious.

Bandai has always been a bit neglectful towards Gundam X and its fans. It's somehow already better than it was before, but it's still quite sad to be a Gundam X fan...

I wish they had an upgraded version of the 1/144 Airmaster Burst.
@willisjackson7029 Жыл бұрын
They released a P-Bandai HG 1/144 Airmaster Burst a few years ago. That’s the newest version that I know about that’s been put out if you didn’t know already.
@Animeaddiction Жыл бұрын
@willisjackson7029 I saw that one, but it wasn't much of an upgrade. The 1/100 scale was good.
@willisjackson7029 Жыл бұрын
@@Animeaddiction So what you are saying is that you like larger scale models versus the smaller ones? Or MG better than HG? I wish that Bandai would make this kit into a MG 1/100 for both this and the Airmaster Burst, but like the reviewer said Gundam X fans don’t get much respect from Bandai. The only 1/100 kits that exist for this model is an old HG 1/100 model from 1996, Bandai never made a MG 1/100 of this design.
@Animeaddiction Жыл бұрын
@@willisjackson7029 I would prefer a 1/144 scale with the same quality as the 1/100.
@willisjackson7029 Жыл бұрын
@@Animeaddiction Then that sounds like you would want a RG 1/144, because that is the only way that I can think of that would make the 1/144 any better. That could be fun too.

Airmaster and Savior both have the best transformation because no parts forming just straight to the flight mode and simple armaments. I hope i find airmaster.

Ya know, it's a let-down that they never released sets for Gundam Leopard. Then we could finally have a complete After War Team Set.

There's hope (in my mind anyway) since Bandai is creeping towards completing the G Gundam cast right after doing Wing. X... though not as popular is still often thought of as the other major non-UC peer of the era. Come on Bandai... you already made most of the Leopard...
