can i ask what you use for awesome lighting camera tripod setup? 😬

Check out my BenQ lamp video, I think I show part of my lightning setup. I used to have 2 large soft-boxes with lamps inside, nowadays I am using 2 large LED panels (that are meant for ceiling mounting) on hinges so I can fold them up and have more free space when not filming. For tripod I have made a custom mount on my own, made of wood, with 2 vertical camera positions and an ARCA plate to mount the DSLR camera easily. I used to use a large tripod that has a removable center column that converts to something like a crane but I prefer to always have the camera mounted at the exact same position each time, so my custom wooden mount is solid and perfect for this.

Hi, hoping you can help with a technical question: I crashed a quad and the LED pad is now shorting. Any clues as to why? There was a power distribution board attached to the pad before the crash, and the LEDs were fried.

Hello, that is sad to hear. Which board is it and between which pads exactly are you measuring a short?

@@muteFPV it's a GEPRC F411 35A AIO. I'm measuring continuty on the LED pad with a multimeter and I'm getting a beep each time.

Are you measuring continuity between which two points? LED pad and ground?

@@muteFPV Yes, measuring continuty between the LED pad and ground. And I've since desoldered every component, including the motors, from the board and still cannot find what's causing the short, if it's actually a short😞.

Yeah those two pads shouldn't have continuity. Cross-checked with some boards of mine just to be sure, although I don't have the same as yours. Who knows where the short has occurred on the board, tough to find...

Hello and thank you very much!!! I am still actively paying attention to comments and helping people that reach out to me but I have had zero free time for new content. There are lots of interesting but, sadly, unfinished projects on / around my bench :( I would hate to do any "discounts" in quality and attention to detail just to publish some content... so I am patiently waiting and hope to be able to do a comeback at some point...
