Heavenly humming!!... the EMD hum is ethereal and so addictive!!.. also to say, the power output is also great, and much better and smoother power delivery than alco’s.. wish I Keep listening to this hum for life... we in IR also cherish these EMD’s and these are our lifeline.. great video, enjoyed it... what u people call as the HGMU-series, we call as the WDP series or to say GT46PAC and the GT46MAC... either ways, the hum and the roar at speed is worth enjoying and something that can’t be put in words!!... the EMD always finds a special place in our hearts... let’s not forget the equally brutal and terrific acceleration of this loco also!!... pulls a 24 coach train without batting an eyelid or breaking into a sweat.... this kind of loco is used extensively for the premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto classes of trains.. the horn is extremely loud and can perhaps wake up the dead too!!... just kidding... 😊

Cannot beat a good EMD sound! Sound very identical to our 81 and "C" class here, classic ! By the way, he's building up air pressure (watching BP Flow Indicator gauge build up) and not checking it. He will then do a "Brake Retention Check" prior to departure to check for BP leakage etc before trains "Brake Certificate" is issued. Value video! Thanks! 10/10.

You're right sir I traveled in this train from Rawalpindi to Lahore Station (290km) and it was hauled by ZCU20 (CSR ZIYANG) locomotive, which had to detached from here, New locomotive HGMU30 (EMD645) GT26 was attached laterally with 5 more coaches, after attachment it would have almost 10 minutes in departure, So the next process is recorded while having 5Bar air pressure for breaking etc Thanks

EMD prime Mover are mostly 2 strokes Diesel engines so they produce Jet Like Sounds..While GE prime Movers are mostly 4 stroke diesel engine hence they produce roaring sounds.. Nice Capture Brother👌 Liked and Subscribed👍

Sir I always watch your clips and really admire your work. The other day I watched your clip of DPU 20& 30 Engines lying dead in yard felt extremely bad.Why are we not rehabilitating this stockpile of 69 locomotives. Why no minister or PM takes any action regarding this situation. The exchequer has already made payments and these assets are getting rotten day by day. Please raise your voice on this matter. Hats off to you for your work.

Yes that is the reason emd switched to 4 stokes like 1010 / 265 t4 to comply with sound and emissiin stds , they tried a lot with a new versions of 710 to get them compliant , in the end either they failed or wasn't worth it
