Really awesome for HGTV to back these lovely people. Asher is so personable! I just can tell people enjoy being around him. Whitney is glowing with excitement in nearly every shot. She loves helping the community, and it shows.

Woah ❤ Bet she was feeling a little powerless about the unexpected and immediate increase in her monthly rent so the fact that theyre going to subsidise the difference for the next 18 months is breathtakingly human. And to throw in the gift bag too! ❤❤
@thompsonnoel5 ай бұрын
If she sells the bag she could subsidize 1/3 of an additional 19th month! Win/win!

I'm glad that Topher is going to carry on the spirit of Elizabeth's family and history there. Even though the house itself will be gone, his dedication to their legacy shows how Whitney and Asher don't let just anyone be a part of the beautiful community they're building in Española.

Plus have you seen Tophers square Jaw and hip fitting attire. Elizabeth should feel honored he’s carrying on her culture for her.

I really like the girl in this show, but the guy is just so awkward. Is he supposed to be like that? I think he’s trying to be funny at points but it’s just not working. He lacks any natural charisma this show is in dire need of. My suggestion is that they maybe more irl type content. Stuff like Instagram reels or TikTok’s would be a great start! We need to see this couple doing normal stuff and I think it would help the guy get more comfortable on camera. Stuff like going to the zoo, eating together, having a zipper be stuck on a sweater, or even just them sharing quick tips on how to make your house more welcoming. I see a lot of potential here, but it definitely can use some improvement! I have faith in Dougie Schecter, he’s super talented.

I can't believe how funny and charismatic the husband is. Sometimes he honestly just steals the show for me. But the importance of Whitneys work can't be understated either!

Bravo, algorithm. This came up on auto play after a real HGTV vid. A few minutes in, I was so deeply confused and disturbed that I wanted to throw my phone into a wall. Luckily the skinny jeans came out and sent me to the comments instead. Thank you, Nathan!

I love how real this is. You can tell that everybody in Española absolutely loves having these two disruptive dreamers in town. My hope is that our entire country can enjoy #passiveliving and keep the windows/doors closed - the air inside will always be #passivelyperfect . These houses are perfect, and so is this show. It's really that simple!
