I cried a little when the bricks were demolished, just because I hate seeing perfectly good materials go to waste, but those shingles are EVERYTHING. What a stunning home. I'm so happy for this family to be able to enjoy life. To live on a lake is a dream. 💙

Love this couple,love they way Jenny puts all her thoughts into her decorating making it special.Love the colours used and all the decor.Love the way they work together as a team.I move my furniture and decor around atleast every few weeks i have a small cosy home but when ever friends and family walk in they say wow your place looks great♥️

I am wondering if any of the stuff they demolish and rip out actually recycled? Would it be possible to give those kitchens they tear out to poor folks rather than destroy them?

They usually recycle a lot into the actual home or bring it to places where others can buy it for cheap

I don't think anything can be salvaged or recycled the way they destroy it it would be nice if they just do recycle it reuse it donate it something like the fireplace all the beautiful brick it could have been salvaged somebody else could use it but no they just tore the entire place apart and take the HGTV shows I've gotten to the point where it's not a show anymore it's a show of destruction there's no characteristics to it any of the houses left anymore everything that is there is destroyed and turned into a white box

I love the family, I love everything about the house... except the layout of the bathroom. The tub between the two sinks is really strange and doesn't make sense visually.

I had to go back to look cause I didn't even notice it at first. Guess my eye isn't visually offended? IDK It would be nice to have my own sink/vanity and make my own mess. Hubby can make his own mess too. Beard hairs, etc. LOL 😆

@@phyllisarrington7436 Oh, absolutely. I have a tiny bathroom with a tiny sink. I gave up cleaning up after him, haha! To my eyes, this bathroom doesn't make sense. But that's okay! I love this special couple's story and how they love it. That's all that matters.

Oh that beautiful brick they could have just painted it or down a whitewash to it versus taking it destroying it or at least just take it apart and save that beautiful brick somebody could use it. One thing about HGTV and all the construction stones that go with it have in common is destruction not renovation not salvage anything but destroyed and dump. It's sickening
