One Nerd Army so true, I fly fixed wing and one time I was busting to take a leak and my buddy and I were a good 15 mins from our destination (Lake Taupō in NZ), with no suitable alternate aerodromes around. That 15 mins was the most agonising pain I’ve had to endure whilst flying, and there was nothing I could do. Even with five mins to go, I had my drink bottle ready to go and asked him to hold the controls, with a few stages of flap (so the aircraft pitches forward) so I could get some relief. He said no. Long story short, we landed and I’ve never taxied so fast and shutdown in my life.. worst flying experience by far.

This is a side note on the PJ's I left in a comment but I just respect them so much I had to share my thoughts: "I watched a video about how freaking difficult it is to make the PJ's, it's insane. I think it's harder than the seals, seriously. They have to be able to do basically everything the seals do, including the water stuff(scuab etc)and weapons training and explosives, but they also have to do rounds at the hospital and stuff (hence the Paramedic side). The guy who made it through said he had to practice doing IV's at night with night vision goggles in the back of a black hawk at low level and maneuvering. I heard that and was like jesus! And if you fail, and this is way into your training already, and fuck up the IV or just can't make it happen enough times that's it, you could wash out". And yes I'm aware the pilots aren't PJ's, still respect them too, it's a difficult and dangerous job, I know.
