I live in Taylor County Florida where the eye of hurricane Helene came into the big bend region of Florida. I would have never thought that hurricane Helene would have had such an impact this far north. Here in Florida, the homes along our coastline are 90% destroyed. I live 25 miles inland from the coast. I am so grateful to God my home was spared. Praying for everyone everywhere. We all need it. Things of this nature will humble you. 😊

IM from Hawaii and this sucks but don't forget. Just because your house was destroyed does not mean anything to the banks, everybody in Maui when their house got burned down got Economic Hardship deferment on their mortgages but its only 16 to 24 months, those months have been up for most people as of last month. So now a lot of people are not only paying rent wherever they are but are now starting to get harrased from the bank about paying their mortgages. So either you got to plan ahead to sell the property if you can or if you are going to keep it just remember whatever they say they don't care in 2 years they will start making you pay again or they will foreclose. Also you got 50 more dollars than we did lol wtf 700 or 750 going to buy? lol I dont want to be a Debbie Downer, but for anyone who lives out there to not forget even as people get their lives settled in a couple years, the banks will rear its ugly head once again. So just be ready for them.

It was one of my favorite things to do in the summer. Fred may not realize how many lives he has touched but everyone who was given that gift of experiencing the Green had their lives made better (except one guy who neglected to leave his car keys at the shack - he had a bad day). Thanks to Fred for the ways you have enriched our lives. I know many of us want to help. A month later, I still cannot digest all the damage everywhere. Just unimaginable. Shit!!! I'm Speechless. That must have been a terrible site to see on your drive, Thankyou for the efforts. I'm, 69 and I've seen most of the biblical plagues here in Australia and been through a couple of moderate Cyclones but for some reason I have missed all the big floods and major storms. They have hit places I've lived after I've left. The last big one was in NZ, Google Hawkes Bay Floods, mid February 2023 and you will see alot of videos.. Heavy rain washed a large amount of forestry slash into the rivers causing dams that collapsed and the slash too out roads, river banks, Road and rail bridges, Land slips added huge amounts of silt to the river flats and surrounding areas. Buried Apple Orchards in over a meter of silt . All happened a couple of weeks before the harvest was due to start!! God bless all those helping with the recovery

Dear Mr. Harris, You and your wife and your team brought tears to my eyes. I am so greatful for you. I am sorry for the lost of your Dad Mr. Harris . I to have fond memories of Saluda, Va. with my grandfather going to Christchurch where he had a summer farm. My dad who was really a golfer (the Farm was on my mother's side) said the highlight of the weekends there was going to the vegetable stand in Saluda!! ha ha ha...I know you got a kick out of that !! Dad wasn't a hunter and fishing or boating man my grandfather was. Going there was my favorite place on earth. I learned so much from him. I not only learned how to crab and fish I learned how to shoot. He had a beautiful Chriscraft sleeper boat we kept in Urbanna. His son had the fastest boat on the Rappahannock River durning my younger years.. It was a mahogany I think that to was a christcraft too speedboat. It was called The Grey Ghost. Mason Funai...you might know him since you like fast things!! Remember the boat races back then in Urbanna Creek ? How nobody got killed was a miracle!! I just wanted to thank you and your crew for what you did for fellow American you never met. And a shout out to your wife for all she did cleaning and getting it ready and stocking it !! I think she might have worked harder than you !! ha ha..I will kept all of you in prayer...and may The Lord continue to Bless you and your family. And I pray that HE keeps you safe and in good health !! Much love to you all....Deborah Wood Richmond , Va. P.S. Now can you do something with our Government !! 😂 XoXo

Life has totally changed for these folks that have been hit and life mangled from the destruction of this catastrophe. People helping People.... that is what this thing we call LIFE is all about!! Love your neighbor as God first loved us, Treat others as you would want to be treated. The list of sayings and quotes and Bible passages go on and on that would fit how to treat others in the right way. Needless to say, we should all look to these Good Samaritan's that are helping and take a mental photo to remember how we should always be to each other. It would really be nice if we could ALL give and help out. If you can help, please do and along with that....prayers do not cost a thing and that is better than all the money on earth. God will always find the way and lead you there. God already knows the way....just trust in HIM. 🙏God bless any and all that were hit or affected by this disaster. Thanks for the documentary.
