Thank you Dr. Phil for everything you have done for us. We are forever grateful. I was born and raised in Boone. My family, 80 year old mother, sister and two brothers lost their homes and my vehicle was totaled during the hurricane. My brother Mike started getting chemo treatments for stage 4 cancer about a week before the storm and he along with my mom and two other siblings have been in a hotel until they find a home. I thank God they are safe. Samaritan’s Purse have been very good to us through all of this as well as another storm a few years ago. They came and rescued my family twice now. They are the ones… the doers! They are real and true in every way. We love you Dr. Phil and appreciate all of your love and support.

I live in NC in the center of the State, but visit the Western Mts. multiple times in a year. The devastation is heart breaking, the loss of life is heart breaking. My daughter lost her home in SC due to the hurricane. A huge oak crushed their home, thankfully, they survived. Many people in SC lost homes in SC. I have gotten emails and texts from politicians asking for me to help with Florida and NC, but they totally overlooked that SC was hit. NC is a zillion times worse than SC but it would be nice if people who lost homes in SC could get more help. I agree, mainstream media is not covering this horrific tragedy and devastation in NC, why? Why is our area of the country being ignored? My daughter and I were talking, we barely missed a bullet because we are not far from Asheville. Our hearts hurt for our NC neighbors. Wake up America’s politicians, please acknowledge and help hurricane victims, especially NC.

Thank you, .Doc. Phil . I HAVE WORKED IN A Hurricane Flood Help in Pennsylvania back in the Seventies at Wikesboro, Pa. In my 20 some yrs old. It's was realy bad everything across the river was gone .lost everything like down there in North Carolina . My Boss and family were from there and we had some business there too .he said if anyone wants to go up and help he still play us ! Wow .we're from Allentown Pa. About 1 1/2 hour away so we came home everyday just about . I have never forgotten than Experience and the joy ,as well as Gratitude on there faces 🙏🏻 could not have been thanked us any more as they did . The sad part was the Contractors that stole there money taken a 1/3 down payment for work and taken off , most never were Caught. They had nothing too start with , the money was crash loans, and government loans . Sick people in this world. God be with them and Protect them . Many of us are not. And still waiting for unemployment. I worked 2 hours that morning before all the power went off and STILL waiting for the govt to help. We live in East Asheville. I’m at a loss for words to describe the destruction in these mountains. The churches were truly the first responders who saved lives. Dr. Phil, These people are going to need legal assistance. No only their homes, and everything they owned but the actual land they owned or have mortgages on, is gone! The actual land is gone where the homes/farms were. Then there are the legal papers, Wills, deeds, insurance policies and on and on that night have been in the homes...paperwork GONE. Its overwhelming.....How do we help solve these kinds of challenges....
