I don't think most people understand how difficult this is musically, and yet it looks so effortless. This band is creating a new style. Lots doing it, they are the most well known and perhaps the best

wow. one of my friends showed me your music guys from his computer like 4 or 5 months ago. i remember i was really really impressed by this girl that plays with a lot of rythm in odd time... and at the same time she sings really good... i think is so difficult try to replicate this song singing while you playing... i cannot believe that there are people so good to do it.. in general. for example there was a guitarist called chuck schuldiner used to play hard metal songs (he created the death metal style) while he shouted a lot... also that was really difficult... because he screamed so strong and played a lot of hard riffs in odd time in every kind of B.p.m. Everytime i see someone that is so good to do this i always remain amazed. O_O very good dear girl! congrats!!! :) and congrats to all guys that play with you.

She is good but this is not a new style.... just new ears. You kids need to check out Stevie Wonder, she was clearly influenced by him and his style and the 70's soul sound. Which is one of my favorite styles of music!

Agreed!! Especially Herbie Hancock in the 70's! Thrust album was ridiculous!

+Mike Cairati Hiatus Kaiyote is a band.. not just one person. and this song was EXPLICITLY said to be inspired by Stevie Wonder, by the band, so there's no shame. Also, this is a new sound for this generation of people. Stevie Wonder is fantastic, but Hiatus Kaiyote is a little different.

Yeaaaah I can agree as well, I can hear the Stevie Wonder in it
