Its called sorrel in the Caribbean. Very traditional drink. Tastes great when boiled with fresh ginger.

In Mexico we call it Agua de Jamaica (Jamaica iced tea). It’s very popular here, specially in traditional cuisine. It’s my fave agua fresca by far. 😋

It’s not pronounced Jamaica lol. I know it’s spelled like it but it’s pronounced ha-maica becz remember, in Spanish J is H :)
