My husband bought an e-bike in August. We live in the beach in South Carolina and he is able to use it all year. I’ve tried it out and, when I get a little more comfortable riding his, will be getting one for myself. We are both in our 70s.

Love the review of the hiboy e-bike. My husband and I have been considering purchasing a pair. Your video has helped us in our search. Thank you for sharing! 😊

My husband is 76, knee & hip replacements, back fusion and balance issues rides an electric trike. I’m 69 and have a 2 wheel electric bike and we have such a fun time biking in our home state of Colorado. We live in Denver and love riding in state parks and all the trails throughout our city and state. Electric bikes are great for us baby boomers still wanting to stay active.

Love the e-bike content it is a great companion to your cruise content! Thank you!

Glad you enjoy it! As we're looking at some of our next adventures, like getting an rv, e-bikes will certainly come in handy and play a role in the adventures we're going to show

Nancy, raise your seat a bit higher so your aren’t bending your knees so much. You should be able to touch the ground with your toes not your foot flat. Much easier on your knees that way. Happy riding and I am so glad you tried the e-bikes. Rent them on various cruise ports as we did!! Have fun and happy riding.

Thanks so much. This is Nancy speaking here and I don’t disagree. However, I have a bit of a fear of falling.

I'm glad you have been able to pick up your adventuring utilizing the e-bikes. Nancy, I loved your comment about God having his paintbrush out in Glen Harbor: My son is currently doing research paper on how perfect the pigment/chlorophyll in leaves are compared with other possible pigments. Greetings from British Columbia... I spent four years in Grand Rapids attending Calvin College (now University).

Great to see your adventures going strong even after the cruise! I must say though as someone who’s followed along a while, this does feel like a cynical cash grab misusing your viewers’ attention. It’s misleading to say ‘this company is the sponsor for today’s video’ when they are the actual reason you’re making a video to review their product. That’s not a sponsor, that’s an advert.
@livingphase221 күн бұрын
Appreciate the comment and how you feel. Please know we did not actually get paid for this video. They sent us the e-bikes and asked us to take a look at them. There was no requirement for a particular positive review of any kind. We're just giving our opinion on the bikes, and we thought it was helpful for empty nesters who may be looking to procure any bikes just like we were doing. Hope you continue to enjoy our other content.

Have been riding a class 1 (must pedal for assistance) e-bike for about 7 years now, 7,000+ miles. Am now 71 yrs and also have bad knees but riding doesn't bother them. Just love my bike and that I can go get out and not struggle but still get exercise enjoying the outdoors. Sounds like those are good bikes with plenty of battery charge. That is always a challenge and don't want to worry about getting back home. Now go get out on them often...dress warm before long!

I have thought about getting an e-bike but the ones I looked at online were $2500+, this looks nice for that price ($800). Wow so beautiful, thank you, I enjoyed, hugs.

You guys are brave. We went up to the finger likes with some of my family and we rented electric bikes. I was scared to death. I ended up turning it in and getting a regular bike going a mile coming back and going and finding your glass of wine. Lol I don’t know that I’ll ever try that again.

I ride road bikes a lot. 50 miles, 100 miles, 150 miles at a time. She should raise the seat a bit. Your legs are too bent when you are riding. I would go to a professional bike shop and get them to fit your bike to you. This will also take pressure off your knees. The more your knees are bent the harder it is on them.
@TrekkingwithDebandMike26 күн бұрын
Absolutely a pro fit.
@livingphase226 күн бұрын
You are an effort writer for sure. This is Nancy speaking here, and I don’t disagree with you about raising up the seat. However, I’m a little concerned because I really want to reach the ground without difficulty.

Not a fan of KZbinrs getting free stuff for doing “reviews”. I’m going to drop your channel. Sorry.
@livingphase225 күн бұрын
Sorry you feel that way. The only thing that we can say is we gave a 100% honest review of our thoughts on the bike. Them sending us the bike head no influence over are video
@TP-es1pf21 күн бұрын
Chill out dude…. They also have ads… are you going to drop all Channels that make money?…
@ctxdd25 күн бұрын
Understand you have to monetize somehow, but couldn't it at least have been related to travel or cruising? This just feels like a complete sellout and disrespectful to your fans.
@livingphase221 күн бұрын
Sorry you feel that way. Please rest assured that we would never have made a recommendation for those bikes if we hadn't thoroughly checked them out and reviewed them and tried them. There was no requirement for a particular positive review, but we thought it was helpful for our viewers to see everything about these ebikes since we were getting them anyway. As far as travel related content, we did enjoy them very much up in Glen Arbor Michigan and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We will be having a full video come out showing our trip up there it is a don't miss place.

@@livingphase2 Nah, sorry just don't agree. There are a million and one products you could come up with some reason to do free marketing for, we didn't subscribe for that. Please don't convince yourself that you're helping your subscribers, you're just helping yourselves to a free bike and we're paying for it through our views and clicks. Fair enough if you want to sell out like that (even if its frustrating considering your financial position) but it will obviously annoy fans of your real content to be forced to pay for some random item you accepted. If your fans really wanted to see an unbiased bike review because they're in the market for one, they would just find a channel dedicated to showing that. This is bought and paid for advertising.
