Many general bbq joints in the states use southern pride rotisserie style smokers. Craft bbq joints use offset stick burners. The difference in taste is night and day but I still enjoy the brisket at hickory’s although it can be a bit hit and miss. Would go just for the bbq bacon bites and blueberry lemonade though.

Fantastic video, we visited the one in Horbury last week I’d been wanting to to go for ages then when I saw your post on instagram of your visit it pushed me over the edge into going 😂😜 although now I’ve seen how professionally you have edited this , it makes me not want to put mine out on Wednesday 🫢 I tried to get a look around the smoker but nobody was about to give me a tour 🥹 funnily enough the greater you got was the same one who seated us so he must work between the Leeds & Wakey ones 🤔, Obviousley Now I’m hungry for another Platter 🤤 Once againg Brilliant video, Thanks for showing us around, see you again soon ❤🫶xx

We love Hickory’s. Just been to the Burton Green one. Can’t wait for the Gloucester one to open, that will be our nearest. Very good food!

like the video but that brisket looked pretty bad if they are claiming texas style brisket. Most of it looked over cooked.
