Wow, I actually thought this video was going to show you hot to test something, perhaps with a multimeter. This is the equivalent to diagnosing a faulty light socket with a light bulb

Thats cool and all but what if the ballast is shorting out when you connect it directly to the bulb? *POP* thats what. Another expensive busted bulb next to the one you dropped.

+Piyush Vishwakarma Another state of the art mass produced Asian chinese Hid Ballast bites the dust; parts swap troubleshooting reveals that the first Hid Ballast is in fact defective; as one can plainly see it fails to fire and initiate the initial required 23Kv to maintain the primary electrical arc spark ignition; now its truely getting absolutely to absurdly funny to mention even; I have even seen youtube users who have like over twenty failed asian chinese Hid ballasts collected in an empty card board shipping box; now they are in true denial as they are only seemingly just starting to realize that they have been truly had; yes they have in fact got their low price and have also in the process have also got taken for it; now one truly gets what they pay for; furthermore low price equals low quality; which equals low amount of hours run time; so now one can only truly blame oneself for initially being seduced by the supposedly initially attractive low price "carrot on a stick"; yet they still somehow still fall for the same "carrot on a stick" time and time again; oh well live and learn; it just might take maybe a dozen more Hid ballasts to search out for the next cheapest asian chinese mass produced Hid ballast; come on guys that fantasy simply does not exist; let's try to wise up and get smarter over time!!
