I don't have problems with Flatpak but I had a really fuuun time yesterday when I have to recompile the python libraries on my laptop because otherwise, python310 wasn't up to date on my package manager. Let's just say that on a "Chrultrabook" Celeron dual core, i finally got a feeling of the Gentoo experience XD. Happy new year btw and I will probably try this wallpaper engine but on my real PC at home.

I also like c0ws. :) I still haven't switched to Linux, but it's nice to know there's an alternative to Wallpaper Engine. Seems to lack a lot of the features (audio on/off, animation speed, color overlays, etc.), but hopefully the devs keep updating it.

video wallpapers for your computer are cool for all about 6 seconds. Then you just need to get back to doing what you were doing and realize it's a really stupid idea.

Oh, cool, i've previously used "hanabi extension" on gnome, for animated wallpapers. On arch with gnome 47 framerate kinda choppy, but framerate here is better, altough in overview screen wallpaper pauses and get's blurry.
