I mean, that's pretty usual, supports and tanks are usually the ones who have to be mindful of the enemy attacks and paterns. DPS just yell "I need healing" or pull agro before the tank does lol.

Thinking that tanking is completely unimportant and all that matters is damage, before proceeding to get their asses whooped once things start to get even somewhat tough? DD'ler are complete retards and you as a tank must not only concentrate on tanking the boss but also babysit the DD'ler with like explaining what mechanic the DD's have to watch out for, which they ignore completely anyway, then they die and blaming YOU, like what the actual f*ck?! That's why i started to hate and despise them.

The fact that he isn't following a pattern from a game helps. Naofumi hears them all say they need to summon a Soul Eater? Okay, fine. But they're all disagreeing on *how* it's done. Naofumi sees what they're doing isn't working. He checks the enemy stats, notices it's funky shadow, and has Raphtalia hit it with light. Seriously, that would have taken three minutes, tops for even a n00b to figure out.

The other 3 stupidly assumed that this world would be just like the games they played, instead of actually treating their new lives as reality and trying to learn all of the skills and nuances of how things actually worked. Naofumi was quickly forced to take this world seriously, and he adapts accordingly.

Games in 2019 tend to be on the easy side. From my experience, you can normally destroy most games by spamming effective moves against enemies until they fall.

Those three heros are worthless incompetent fools. They saw Naofumi as a hindrance but doing so cost them a crucial fighting strength. Defense and strategic planning. Being able to attack means nothing if you are unable to survive an enemy's powerful strike. Sword, Bow, and Spear couldn't even cooperate.

I may not have seen every detail concerning this anime but I know enough from this to understand the three stooges didn't get that far without some hand holding. The fact they were unable to execute a coordinated attack means they didn't even have training sessions for facing strong and/or highly evasive opponents. They left Naofumi to fend for himself and he became the most valuable member of the four heros and probably the only one deserving of the title.

non of them seems to have played an RPG game, it is basic knoledge that the most effective way to deal with Dark monsters is to use light attacks. it seemed the Dimencinal Soul Eater had 100% recistent against Lightning and 90% against wind and ficical (it also could be that Filo made damege because she is a wind creature using wind attacks and was also buffed by the rage mode). Glasse´s attacks seemed to be Light Arrows, so I guess he has a 90% weakness to ligh attacks.

Raphtalia'a light magic seemed pretty effective against the Soul Eater and the second Soul Eater was defeated in one shot with a light attack. My question is, why didn't Raphtalia keep attacking with light? What kind of RPG player doesn't spam a Super Effective move? Or did she run out of Mana?

The light attack hardly did any damage, since Raphtalia isn't high leveled enough. It's like in Pokemon, when you hit a fire pokemon with a water move, it's going to be super effective, but if you're thirty levels weaker, you're hardly gonna do any damage. An in many cases, it's actually smarter NOT to go for the super effective moves, either because they sometimes do more damage (stat wise), or because other attacks might trigger secondary effects (poison, stats buff/debuff, etc).
