I just tried it. Dropped a clip in FCPX, applied the auto "Balance Color" and tried a bunch of LUT, and wow: Usually with Cine-D/Cine-V/Natural the image is falling apart with the LUTs set to 100%. But no with this filter. There is definitely something there.

That is great!! Thanks for this! I haven’t had anyone really try it in any other program yet. Please let me know when you upload a video or two, I’d love to see!

FYI @@thatszeno5089 I did a quick comparison of the size files. 11 sec. Natural all set to 0. 4k 24P: ISO 200 + WB auto : 122,3 MB 11 sec. Cine D all set to 0. 4k 24P: ISO 200 + WB auto: 122,4 MB 11 sec. Fantasy Filter. 4k 24P: ISO 200 :123,5 MB So the fantasy filter seems to have the same amount of data.

@@fredr. that’s good to know! I just love the overall look I get with the fantasy filter over Cine-D and the other profiles. For whatever reason the colors just look better to me for darker skin and it just grades better overall, especially if you want to add luts or any other heavier grading. My only gripes with it is it uses auto WB and higher ISOs will get you a ton of artifacts. But If I could manually set the WB I would be in heaven!

Have you tried CineD or Natural profiles with the custom magenta hue daylight white balance? How do you think it fairs on skin compared to Zlog?
@thatszeno50892 жыл бұрын
Hey! I’ve tried most of them and for me I like to be able to customize and edit colors. The baked in profiles don’t allow too much wiggle room for editing. They all are great out of camera though.

How can you manual the iso and shutter with this mode?
@thatszeno5089 Жыл бұрын
By pressing ISO to adjust ISO and turning the shutter dial to adjust the shutter. You would need to make sure your camera is in manual mode (the camera video camera that has the M next to it.) Is this what you mean?

Do You have a lut?
@thatszeno50893 жыл бұрын
I’m working on my luts now. I have a ton of power grades / stills that all represent the many temperatures of the auto WB That the filter has. These are what I will be saving as luts. Thats the major downside to this camera filter. is that the filter uses auto WB. Because of this I can’t use let’s say one lut for the daylight setting or another for shade etc. i have to use a variety of them for the many kelvin temperatures it may interpret as daylight etc. this also changes if you use any other setting as well, such as 1080 vs 4K. I am only shooting 4K and all my luts will be for this as well. So this is why I will be giving a ton of what I use for $24.99 because it will be a lot. There is no go to lut or powergrade that I use when I grade. I have to go through my daylight grades etc.. until I find one that is either perfect or close to perfect. I then tweak it to my liking. So these luts will be well worth the wait and make coloring your footage a lot easier.

Yes! You definitely should!

I was tried is good ,but for the correction color now I think that is better have 10 bits .I have 8bits and I lost information whit this profile. ☹
@thatszeno50892 жыл бұрын
@@visualizerdbcn9884 yes! 10 Bit is much better. I have the G9 as well and the tones overall are much smoother. The issue I have is the film look itself. It just looks “different”. Better but more digital I guess you could say. The G85 has a much more old school movie look to me which I love. As long as I shoot at ISO 200 only and work in even light I have no real problems. But you still are correct - 10 but will look much smoother and handle color corrections better.
