As a regular 395 hwy traveler to the Eastern Sierras, I never miss stopping at the Shell station in Pearsonville. Specifically, to load up on their great selections of jerky. Now I will have to try yours!

Congrats on the sale! I'll have to stop in on future travels to pick up some. I rarely stop there for fuel or supplies but I'll get some jerky. Those are great areas you've found. Lot's of history at the second spot. It is usually very exposed and the times I've been there it was very windy. Top of the world-esque. Good to see Mama Goose getting things more healthy. Safe travels!

Another great video. I have copied many of your awesome recipes. You find some amazing camp spots. It always fun to find clues to locate them myself. So many KZbinrs out there give exact co-ord and directions then stuff gets trashed. It was sad to see you you move back to CA but I get it. I was looking forward to you finding some gems in Idaho. Ordering some jerky now to help out.

This past winter was one of the wettest winters on record. Massive amounts of snow. All of that snow melt combined with warm temperatures are producing huge mosquito hatches. It's always a normal thing in the Sierras in the early summer, that tapers off after the snow pack melts. But this year, it's almost August and there still is a snow pack.

East of 395. Bridgeport. Masonic Mtn. The old ghost town of Masonic. So many cool places along both sides of 395 to explore. Mt Patterson. There is a 4WD trail up to the summit.

I did research on carnivore coming from an exercise science background and i can't ignore the anecdotal evidence. So i am 5 weeks in, dropped 15lbs and feel great! It would make for boring recipe recommendations because it's meat and eggs pretty much, lol. Pretty much the cut in sugar and carbs is the key. Protein keeps you satiated so essentially you will cut calories and therefore lose weight. Of course everyone is different so i absolutely encourage to adapt and adjust to what feels better with individual if they wanna add vegetables and/or fruit. Love your videos and you guys definitely keep is motivated to get out on the trails. Just waiting for the weather to cool a bit here in socal.

What a great spot near the Mono Lake. Can you share how I can get there? I’ll be going up to Mammoth in September and would love to visit that spot. I started to build an overlanding vehicle and can’t wait to start following your foot steps on trails off of 395.

Start getting out there and doing the hunt for sites. Take those roads you see off to the left and right of any main roads. You will find great sites that haven't been overtaken by the urge to post them all over social media. Keep em secret, keep em safe.

I know something fun you can make! Try grilled fish tacos with organic corn tortillas, avocado and pico de gallo! We're vegan, so I won't try and force any vegan recommendation on you guys ..lol! But a good Baja style taco with fresh lime squeeze on corn torts is pretty healthy! Cheers!

Thanks team for continuing to take the rest of us along on your adventures! A couple fantastic spots you have found there to spend the night. What was the structure on the ridge by the lake. Congrats on the weight loss program. I’ve been doing the same thing for about a month now so I am with you two in spirit. A meet and great would be fun but I need to wait until we get down there for the winter. Cheers!

Motivating video. I’m still a beginner fly fisherman. I’ve done well with spinning rods all my life but I’m trying to change the game . I went with a 5 weight Douglas DFX 9’. I live near Sonora Ca so I’m supporting local business and put Galvan reel on it. Looks like some good water where you were fishing. Nice looking browns..also-will there be a zero sugar jerky coming?

I have been using an 8'6" 5wt Orvis. But I mainly do small creek fishing. I still have an early Pflueger Gem reel and a bamboo Marshal rod set that my grandpa gave me. The reel is still mint. The rod set has seen better days. Been asking about the possibility of getting it restowed. But its too far gone.
