Say Carter, when doing these drills, how many a day would you recommend doing them and how would you know when it is time for the next stage of training?

Good question

I’d say you’d know ur ready to move to the next once every repetition you do is naturally perfect. But I wouldn’t stop training in all areas anyhow.

Hey man would you recommend doing southpaw (if u can even consider southpaw with a square stance)? I mean like instead of right leg back, should you practice left leg back & do the twist drills, etc.? You may have mentioned it already

Can you make videos on the footwork mechanics: Switches, Twists, Bounds, Spring actions. Just a question. For a switch (Angle change) should the balls of the feet remain in contact with the ground or can it be a jumping kinda action?

Can you make a video on how to throw each punch and stay balanced I have watched all your videos and I’m actually beginning to make progress but that is one of the things I cannot figure out

How many twists should we do a day, I kind of had a hard time with balance. Also when’s the self esteem confidence vids coming ?

@@ral-pu1ht Coming soon! Check the new stance video for help with balance. Do ten twists each side as a part of your warmup. Practice it five minutes a day at home.

Hi Carter if you could get back to me in the comments that would be great. But I was really wondering for the footwork portion, what do the twists do? I’m just wondering because I want to visualize the purpose of it when I practice

Works on your balance. You want to be able to find your balance instantly, without having to adjust your feet.

I like what I am seeing Carter. However watching this as an observer from the outside the sparring is no different to traditional boxing . Where is the Peek a Boo style in the sparring ?
@7am4a463 ай бұрын
Mate he mentioned it in the beginning they’re doing the basics it’s been a 3 months since I’ve started learning peek-a-boo even until now i haven’t mastered everything Mike Tyson has done it
@peekabooboxingacademy3 ай бұрын
@@cusssystem8013 Good question. The kid in the red headgear is my fighter and it’s his third time sparring. The kid in the blue is not my fighter and he’s not doing peekaboo. Cameron is just doing the basics. Jabs and slipping. And because of his inexperience, it’s not going to look perfect. This is what you can expect when first learning. Later down the line, you tighten things up and add the more advanced things you’d expect to see a peekaboo fighter do. Additionally, not everyone will look like Mike when they fight. So it’s a combination of all of those things.
@risingdagger54163 ай бұрын
he said it in the beginning. There is peek a boo in the sparring clip if you really watched his videos carefully.

@@peekabooboxingacademy hey I’m having trouble figuring out how far to slip. Sometimes I feel like I’m going too far sometimes not far enough. I don’t have a bag to hit. I set up a pair of shoes to represent where my opponent is. I try to visualize getting outside the shoulders of my invisible opponent lol. How can I figure out the “sweet spot” for slips with this set up? I am untrained I just watch videos and try to learn self defense. Don’t have enough money to go to a gym and/or get a coach.
