Cool video Johnny, I pass by the Studio building a lot and know the history of it as well, thanks for sharing. When I lived at Spadina & Lowther, I'd walk to work on Bloor St East and pass by Manulife's Building most days, they fertilize their lawn many times during the season to maintain it so well. A gang of us from the first full time job I had would have lunch at one of the Insurance companies' cafeterias in this neighbourhood because the menu prices were subsidized, it helped when we were all earning a pittance in an entry level position.

Many years ago, I was invited to a cocktail party at one of the apartments in this building. One enters into a large room with high ceiling with a huge window brining in lots of light! At the back of the room was both a kitchen and bathroom and above that, by stairs was a loft and library where the renter slept. I loved it!

Your right, I've been on the train many times and I've never even known about Studio House, very interesting! Next time I'm in Toronto, I will need to check out this building. I've been to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinberg now I need to see where it all started. Thank you Johnny for this very interesting learning video!👍👍😀🚶♂️

Thanks for this video, you saved me some grief of having to get to the path going down to Severn Creek Park only to find that the path the Google maps Walking and Cycling guides say to use and find Stairs. It looks like I will have to approach it from the south instead, but I prefer not to have to go uphill in my chair because it drains the battery faster.

Dear Mr. Johnny Strides.... In this Episode, Our Hero, Johnny, is trekking through the hidden zones of the great metropolitan city of Toronto.... Johnny is Toronto's Vlogger.... As he makes his way toward a spooky forest with a floral tree of limbs knotting and into the bowls of this hidden park path..... And he makes way stepping down concert step there is some singing ... "Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall, ninety-nine bottles of beer, You take one Down and Pass it Around... Ninty-eight bottles of beer on the wall!".....CUT! CUT!.... That song is for Bob and Doug Mackenize, the Hoser Vlog... This is the Johnny Vlog!..... And why are Godzilla and King Kong and Sasquatch on my set.... Hey, how many beers are you going to feed Godzilla, I don't need a drunken big lizard or a drunk monkey on my set!... Would everyone stop singing the Beer song..... This is mutiny!.... OH! Give me a BEER... This is the Hoser Vlog..... Johnny is Toronto's Vlogger.... The End.... Always in Good Taste... CHEERS!! Be Supportive and Subscribe and check out Johnny Stumbles

Hidden Toronto Series, nice spin. I am in. The world we live in now. You were entering the park when the father, daughter walked up and put the masks on right away. This park reminds me of Sherwood Park, not too far from you. Have you done a tour of that one?

Hi Johnny . Great video . I love this area, park & walk way . Love Group of 7 . Amazing artists & history . ps. Someone on your channel verbally attacked me . I think he did it because I used a gay rainbow emoji . It made me feel sick to my stomach . Decided to keep leaving comments because I really enjoy your videos . Mark (Toronto) 💙🌈

Hey Mark, if I see comments like that I will remove them and ban repeat offenders (or on the first time if it was way over the line). Your comments are appreciated and I'll do my best to keep it respectful in the comments (KZbin's own filter often catches most of it... sorry this one slipped through).
