I had a day like this last Saturday. Fishing a silver shad pattern jackhammer in shallow clear water. Watched spot after spot come up and smack it, but I just couldn't connect. I feel your pain.

Man I want to get into fishing so bad. I went all out on my tackle, days of research on rods, reels, lines and different rigs, but the last 2 times I went out, no bites. Got 2 panfish at roosevelt but that was it. I guess I just dont know the spots. I'll probably hang up my rod before long but man your videos give me the itch.

"TheBeaver_t" surely knows his way around these Yuma waters! Really superb vid and great editing. IMPO a smaller swimbait (with less mass) would have definitely given you better results - but then again, I am relatively new at bass fishing. Nice seeing "TheBeaver_t" having some fun - miss seeing him on the water.

He’s a beast down there on those waters! Without his help I would have only touched a fraction of the water that we ended up fishing that day. It was interesting how the fish were reacting to the baits! I was throwing the 7” citizen and the fish were crushing it but it is a big bait for how the fish were trying to eat it that day. Beaver threw the 6” size which is significantly smaller and maybe had 1/4 of the followers/bites that the 7” was getting so the size of the 7” was definitely drawing the fish out but they just couldn’t get the bait in the right spot. Could have probably thrown some smaller conventional stuff and caught more fish but we wanted to get that one awesome eat for the camera which was such a tease hahaha but got one good eat on top to wrap up the day🤘🏼
