Suck At Catching Fish?? These SIMPLE TIPS Will Catch You Fish EVEN When They're NOT Biting!!!

Thought i'd take a day to breakdown what I do when fishing in tough conditions. I found probably the worst day of the month to head out to one of my local lakes; Bartlett lake. Usually I would refrain from heading out on days like this but sometimes you find yourself in tough conditions and have to work a little harder to figure out a bite. Today's video goes over how I like to break down brutal conditions and show you guys some tips to put more fish in the boat even when its tough!! This video can also relate to the toughest seasons year round like the dog days of summer and the heart of winter. These methods are tried and true for me and hopefully can help you out when you find yourself in those less than ideal conditions!! I was there that day. I thought I recognized you. My Dad and I caught some decent fish. Especially for Bartlett. Smallest bass was about 2lbs. I caught 2 on a drop shot. All my other bass were caught on a pearl fluke.

I have the minn kota power drive 55lb 45” and yessir it hs spot lock! Game changer!

@@desertbassin nice! Was it hard to mount the transducer on the troller? Doesn’t the shaft go through a sleeve like thing that has no room for a cable? Maybe do a vid on that?

@@atitagain7900 my boat is so short I mount it off the transom. However it wouldn’t be too difficult to mount it on the trolling motor but you would have to leave slack for the trolling motor to twist

I have the Minn Kota Terrova. It has spot lock, cruise control, etc. The transducer is internal to the trolling motor so you don't have to mount a transducer to the motor. There is a cable included as part of the motor that connects to your graph. The transom mount transducer installs and connects as usual.

On that drop shot try that vmc spinshot. game changer, man game changer. no line twist, puts a ton more action on yur bait.

The spin shot is a popular setup! I’ve used spin shot style drop shot setups in the past and they definitely eliminate line twist! However you’re restricted to only one hook

Just got into fishing in these past couple a months, and I suck. Probably watched my friends pull 15 total out of the water in our last 4-5 trips and im still the only person who has never caught anything. My friends and I have came to the conclusion im cursed. over 20 hours of fishing done bare minimum no bites ever, spent 3 days camping and fishing all day. nothing, nobody knows what im doing wrong, they just laugh and call me unlucky. Im getting to the point where it doesnt feel like luck anymore and im almost over it. been told ill get them next time 5 times now while everything catches stuff everytime. Im like the joke of the group when we go fishing now and it sucks. If i dont catch a fish in the next 2 trips im hanging the rop up for good. over it.
