I know it’s very hard to watch your mom in her last phase of life. I know how much you love her and she knows this. I lost my mom 8 years ago and it still feels like yesterday. She really appreciates you being there for her like she was for you growing up. I'm truly sorry for loss. Not many couple can say they've been married for 32 years. Especially, when our society, today makes getting a divorce quick and relatively easy. Just know you have fond memories to get you by. Find some solace, that your husband is not suffering nor in pain. One day, you will be together again. Our death is not the end, it's just the start of some thing new. My wife and I have been together, thru thick and thin for 26 years. And still going strong. We're both doctors and have demanding careers. However, when some one ask either us. What's the best job or accomplishment you had....we both have the same answer. Being a Mom or Dad. Somehow, we found a balance to ensure our girls never went without a parent being around. Or supporting them in school or an activity, they fancied. It was challenging at times. My Mom died in July, 1996. I will never get over missing her. I have memories of her throughout my house and the precious thoughts in my head. She was almost eighty and had cancer. My Mom is 100 years plus 6 months old and suffered a mild stroke about a month ago. She then contacted Covid,, but is recovering nicely from covid. I am praying for you Rachel. My mom had been on dialysis for 6 months in April, had gotten c, got over that but it took a toll on her body and they struggled to do dialysis due to collapsed veins. She finally decided to go off dialysis after 3 weeks in the hospital and looking like she was going to be bedridden. She passed in April I miss her so very much. It was hard watching, so I know what your going through. My heart hurts for you. I wish I could hug you.❤❤❤

I lost my Dad 29 yrs ago. Sadly from cancer he had beat twice. But we knew he was terminal, so I totally took advantage of any time we had! My Mom sadly passed away 12 yrs later on the morning of our planned weekly dinner date. I didn't get that last dinner or goodbye or Love ya lots! I lost my Mom this past May and this weekend the last of her belongings that no one in family wanted was hauled away. My Mom had COPD, and the last 8 months I moved her closer to me so that I could visit as often as possible. I am so glad that I had that time. Prior to me moving her by me, I only saw her a couple times a year as it was a 10 hr drive. Relish this time. Kevin and Rachel, thank you for making this video for several reasons: it was nice to see the two of you playing in the rain and especially Rachel it’s at one point when you jumped in the puddle and Kevin had it in slow motion at the beginning of the video… I just got so tickled over the two of you having fun with the rain because after all look how long you have waited for the rain to come to your farm and you so deserved the play in the RAIN😊❣️❣️❣️❣️ praise God for the rain no matter how much it was that he sent to your farm… Even the animals were happy about it except maybe the goats because I know they don’t like rain! It was also nice to see the two of you working together to get the chores done because as much as we love rain it does get cold real quick when you’re out in it for very long so thank you to be a team, which I know you guys are anyway. My mom and dad always worked together on the farm and as a child seeing that it gave me a permanent idea of what I wanted in my marriage and I’m sure it is helping your children to formulate that in their minds as well!!! Rachel there are enough words to comfort you as you watch your Mother Lose a foothold on Her life. I have lost both of my parents and I do know that our heavenly father is with you and with her and I want you to know that I am praying for her and your family and I am praying for God‘s will for your mother and that you can see His wonderful, comforting power in the coming days, & Know his presence is with your Mother and with you because No one loves you more than He does & is greater than Him…Just lean on His shoulder just like you did when you were a small child and know that God is comforting you in the same way😊♥️♥️♥️♥️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

My best advice is get a video of her. My mom passed away after surgery, 10 years ago. I miss her every day. I wish I could hear her voice again. I got one from my Dad saying ‘I love you’, 6 years ago. Haven’t listened to it yet, but it is a comfort knowing I have that. My siblings did the same thing.

Hi Kevin and Rachel Always enjoy seeing you two together tending to the animals. I had to laugh seeing the black goat and Mojo shaking their head. Rachel You have a right to be emotional. So don't worry when you need to let go in front of us . As your extended family we are there with you in good and bad. Will continue praying for your mom and all of your family . Sometimes though after we've done all that we can, we just put it in the hands of God.

F@#* cancer!! I went thru 3 rounds with my mom. 2 kidney and ovarian/uterine. She got a good 13 years after they took her left kidney. That had returned when a brown recluse took her life and quick. Guessing that was a much quicker and mostly painless out and I don't blame her one bit. She visits a lot. Sends birds to everyone. Guess it has been a year and a half now. Still hard to be the oldest female left of your family at 50. Yeah...hugs to you all. 💚

Glad to see that you are finally getting a good rain! Rachel, thank you for sharing the update on your mother during this rough time for you and your family. I will continue to keep your mom in our prayers for a healing recovery. With the worldwide prayer circle hopefully this will bring her some peace and comfort. We forget that besides us being the daughter & wanting to be with mom every waking hour, we still have to be a mom for our children plus a wife and the caretaker overall. I just wanted to say Don't forget about taking care of yourself. I am keeping you in prayer for the strength the you will need
