The ducks were fascinated just being on the grass. If the flowers there were pecking at are tiny purple ones, they could be purple dead nettles. They are a wild eatable for people too. ( don’t indulge without comparing them to a picture ). The duck “Palace” is adorable with the little red house, perhaps a couple handfuls of shavings inside would encourage them to go in. OH MY more cute babies, the duck are doing well and they seem to really like the new digs. Got right down to eating the flowers and grass, pretty soon you can put a tiny pool in there for them. Baby chicks are so tiny and fluffy what fun!

When we had baby ducks they ate the tiny flies from our horse stalls. When old enough they swam everyday in our pond. They actually kept it clean. We had Mallards. And the wild ducks would come abd join our time ones. Our female German Shepherd was their mom by her own choice. They ducks are fun.
