Hi Paul, looking forward to your review of the AT-LP8X. It’s a lovely looking piece. Just to clarify one point from your overview, this table does not have a built in phono preamp.

It's especially difficult to judge the price /performance ratio on Compact Disc players. A number of models released in the £1K to 3K price range this year 🇬🇧
