You don’t need to lock your hands. A true High C you snake your arm down his leg and keep all pressure on the leg and hip. you have total control from the hip down. He ain’t sprawling. And from the momentum of the high C immediately switch to a sweep double.

Amazing high crotch tutorial! I’ve been working really hard on using this takedown on much taller opponents. Their body is long when they’re in clinch and I can’t reach their legs. Would I have to step further to secure the high crotch?
