uni dropouts have always managed to succeed in entrepreneurship because hardships creates great people. This is what dropouts or people with no degree should do and are doing, I've seen people in these situations and they chose to be with people in similar situations on the streets and end up bagging us for change. 😢

UIF capped at R148.72, that's actually an old rate though, from 2021 was capped at R177.12 i.e. 1% of earnings

All I will say is that there's a reason why the real estate agent was paying off at least two loans owed to their agency by the time they eventually got paid (3 months after sale date). It tells you there's probably a low frequency of income hence the liquidity challenges.

This reminds me of a guy I went to school with who passed matric with 37%. But he was the first millionaire among all of us, bcoz his parents gave him govt tenders - so he was the highest paid project manager. Anyway the Hawks caught up to them, he works a regular job now

The back drop to the story is that there are high paying jobs in a country with high unemployment (especially youth) and it’s important to know how/why people ended up in those positions. So the story is just an example how he was one of the highest paid project managers, civil engineer, construction supervisor
