High-level visit from Chad

On the first day of the Aid for Trade Global Review, the WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala met with Chad's Minister Mathieu Guibolo Fanga.
Their meeting followed a session on financing sustainable infrastructure in West and Central Africa's cotton-to-clothing sector.
Earlier in the day, representatives from a group of organizations - including AFC, ITFC, ITC, UNIDO and the WTO - signed a joint declaration. They affirmed their cooperation in investing in and supporting the WTO's cotton value chain development projects in African countries.
