Nice job and vid. Thanks! Frame is starting to get a bit rusty. I would recommend to clean off loose material and spray Fluid Film, found at Lowe's, on all of your frame. The lubricant will at least slow the cancer down, if not stop it and will protect what has not yet corroded.

Nice work. This is going to be a great series! I wish more brakes had those pop a couple of clips and pins and swap pads. I need to look at getting another Motive unit. Had one.... had a bad experience with the old GM-style MC adapter cover thing with the crazy chains and j-bolts. Nice to see the "blue shirt customer service manager".

Lol the service manager makes sure I'm on schedule. Yeah, I tried that plate style MC cover and never could get it to work. All the other adapters work great though. This one was a special one I had to buy for Toyotas.

Hey Peter any advice on how the break in new brake rotors?

I like to take it up to 35 MPH and do a hard brake down to about 5 MPH, and repeat that 5 times. "Hard brake" is not exactly scientific. But, for example, if your phone was laying in the passenger seat, it should end up on the floor afterward 😆

I would have ditched the air springs completely if they could be deleted in favor of regular springs.

It's surprisingly more expensive to convert to regular springs. I personally think it's a cool feature to keep around for a road-only vehicle.

Certainly an upgrade for your dad from the old Toyota pickup. Old school Japanese. No silly torque to yield bolts. That brake fluid....yuck.

For the brake bleeding, I would HIGHLY recommend you be very, VERY careful not to drain the master cylinder completely to avoid having to replace the entire unit. It is so expensive and broke my wallet BIG TIME.
