It’s funny that the veyron was kind of the first Hypercar, 2005 1001 hp, so much faster than anything else that money could buy on the street, not a crazy aerodynamic design, just a pebble shape, huge power and massive brakes for stopping. Still my favourite Hypercar by far

Attended this in person, was my first outting with SCD, safe to say I was blown away by the calibre of cars on display. So many amazing things to the point where youre almost numb to seeing stuff that on any other day would blow your mind.

I always enjoy that the little LCD (LED?) screen on the Veyron that tells you to put your seatbelt on is the same one you got in that period's VW Golf, Polo etc.

The Veyron, was, is and always will be the ‘Concorde’ of cars for its groundbreaking design, technology and truly unique and uttterly epic engineering.

Just as a reminder/side note. Almost all the valkryies broke down at this event, they dont work. same with the koenigsegg that set itself on fire and the AMG One's that all got recalled so they couldnt even be at this event. "If it is comparible, then it is no longer bugatti".

In my opinion, the Veyron is the most special of the bunch still. Not because the newer Bugatti's aren't impressive, but it's no secret that each iteration, Chiron etc. builds/improves upon the Veyron, which had to be engineered from scratch. It was a milestone for sure.

No matter what anyone says Bugatti's are the ultimate car point blank it's literally the only hypercar brand I've heard of that's actually reliable and daily usable no other hypercar offers actual daily drivability or reliability yes maintenance is pricey but the people who own them does not flinch at the maintenance costs , Bugatti's have been the ultimate automotive engineering pushers nobody is pushing like them in the modern era the EB110 quad turbo v12 with baby displacement , the Veyron W16 quad turbo , the Chiron w16 quad turbo , what makes the chiron and veyron even crazier is the fact that the W16 can make way way way more power than it comes out of the factory with they are heavily heavilu detuned from factory alot of restrictions aswell , have people seen the tiny turbo's Bugatti's have , imagine they use the size turbo's that Koenigseggs use , the Bugatti's use more displacement and more cylinders so the power they output doesn't put any stress on any of the components in the engine , Koenigsegg Agera R makes 1140hp throughout 8 cylinders so 142.5hp per cylinder the Veyron Super Sport makes 1183hp that means it makes 73.9hp per cylinder which means it's making that power with the utmost of effort that's why it's super reliable , if the Bugatti's made the same amount of power per cylinder as an Agera R it would make 2280hp probably also with relative ease and reliability , people should put respect on the W16 Quad Turbo monster

I don't mean to insult, but periods, man... Gotta start using them 😂. It's hard to read a single sentence that is multiple paragraphs in length. To your point though, I think Bugattis are incredible technological achievements, but I would much prefer a Pagani or a Koenigsegg.. I would even prefer some supercars by Mclaren, Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini. Bugatti styling is pretty boring. But even so, to suggest that Bugattis are underrated somehow? They are regularly considered the pinnacle of the performance luxury hypercar world... It's not like they are overlooked. in any way, shape, or form

Well..... a Koenigsegg set itself on fire at this very event. Seen Through Glass talked about it. Christian is a sooo dam good at keeping his customers quiet about how unreliable eggs actually are. Its why non of these super rich people cancelled their Bugatti orders once the 10 year olds on youtube started going on about how much faster and "better" eggs are than bugattis.

@@CITRUS-- exactly Koenigseggs are outrageously unreliable yes they're pretty and nice and they come up with cool innovations but it's undeniable that they're the kings of being unreliable i feel like it's because Koenigseggs make way too much power pet cylinder let me make a comparison a Golf 5 GTI makes 200hp fron factory but it's heavily restricted and detuned from factory so it stays reliable but still remains fun so it makes 50hp per cylinder a Bugatti makes like 70hp per cylinder a Koenigsegg makes literally 150hp per cylinder so imagine the crazy stress each cylinder goes through a Golf 5 GTI can easily make 100 extra hp just by breathing mods like a better exhaust better intakes and piping and still be reliable because Volkswagen has crazy R&D departments , Koenigsegg doesn't and wants to do everything in house as if they're Ferrari if i was Koenigsegg i would also ask Cosworth to develop engines

Hi Shmee, the Ferrari 4:00 looks like it is a 500 TRC. Not very well known as I dont think Ferrari raced them as works cars. I think they were raced only by clients. But it still won in its respective classes at Sebring and Le Mans I believe. Also for those interested I think this particular car has a 1960's Testarossa V12 rather than her original 4 cylinder. 😄

I'm surprised there aren't more high-mileage Veyrons; they were made to be very comfortable grand tourers that go very very fast! Rumor has it that there was a guy near me who had one, and he'd just take it to the supermarket in his pajama pants to grab a couple things that he forgot before they close for the night!

I know there weere many more interesting cars on display there but I would thougt that 1990-1992 one of 53 produced Jaguar XJR-15 would deserve at least an mention not just času casual passbay like it's nothing . However I am glad that you enyoyed that beautiful Bugatti Veryon SS WRE 😊. If you just look at the 8 WREs, of those the Golden Era Collection doesn't have a WRC, and SBH RAG doesn't have a 300+. Which collection has all 3 other than the Singh Collection? I'm not counting Bugatti themselves, but just the customer cars.

@@Shmee150 Tim The golden era collection is local to me here in Minnesota and mr Blatner does have all 3, however the online car registry pages do not have a very good accuracy of his car collection, in fact he has a few more extremely rare and valuable cars that people online have not seen. Also he is Bugatti’s number 1 customer so don’t underestimate him. Cheers

Tim. I noticed the 51 plate Ferrari F40 in your video. Now Ferrari only made these up to 1992 and tax checker shows it being a red 2900 cc Ferrari , hence an F40. How is this possible in the UK where you cannot show a car to appear to be newer than it actually is?

I actually thought about it on the day and meant to say something on video. I think that means the car sat unregistered for the first decade and a bit of its life, so was first registered in 2001.

I have to ask. I see you're filming with a Samsung phone when you have DJI Osomo Action 4 camera's. Why not just film with the Osmo Action 4 and you can use the DJI 2 wireless mic? It's a much smaller foot print with a wide angle lens. I absolutely love mine and they will film in 4k...even tho I only film in 1080p...storage space u know. Just asking....
