I agree with you, that's why I put 500 percent profit. I should have explained it better because I can see how it can be confusing. It really is being sold online for around $250 to $500. So the $500 at the end would actually be over 1000% profit depending on what you spend in materials. 500% profit would calculate to selling it for less than $250.

I don’t get why people look at the tools you see in videos and think guys can only make stuff with expensive and/or a lot of tools. You can absolutely make any beginner or better woodworking projects, including the project in this video with a few cheap new or used tools. All you need is a drill, a circular saw, a jigsaw and a sander and you can make tons of stuff. You might want to use a straight edge of some sort to cut straight lines and, it might take a few minutes longer to make something, but these tools are all you need to get started. A shop vac would be nice, but if you don’t have one cut your wood outside or wear a dust mask. If you don’t want to spend a few bucks on a circular saw, use a handsaw or a jigsaw with a straight edge. I have a used jigsaw, circular saw and drill that I’ve listed online for free and nobody has ever contacted me. They are corded, but so what, they work great. There are always people giving away or selling tools for cheap. Sure, having a shop full of nicer tools is nice and makes things easier and ofter faster, but most beginners start with the tools I mentioned and buy additional tools when they have the money. Don’t use the excuse to get started in woodworking on the fact that you need a lot of experience tools. I started with the used tools I mentioned above. In fact, I didn’t have a sander so hand sanded everything which sucks big time! I’m 65 so remember using a handsaw, a sanding block with cheap sandpaper that didn’t last more than a few minutes, and a hand drill that spun as you pushed down on it. Back when I was a young kid, there weren’t very many people that could afford power tools. In fact, the finest craftsman throughout history only used hand tools to build beautiful furniture that most of us couldn’t afford to buy.
@fogcabin4 ай бұрын
Lol but you absolutely DONT need a full shop to make this, just cause he does doesn't make it so. This can vary easily be made with the basic tools on an apartment patio even lmao. But if you have the tools why not use em right?
