55:20 what Aila did was just the shove attack which only replaces one attack, so she would still have another attack "Using the Attack action, you can make a special melee attack to shove a creature, either to knock it prone or push it [five feet] away from you. If you have multiple attacks with the Attack action, this replaces one of them." (Pg. 195 of the PHB) Since the mage was only moved 5ft that's a shove, and the flavouring of having it be Aila picks them up and tosses them shouldn't change that. But let's say it was a grapple as you said. A grapple still only replaces one of your attacks. "... you can use the Attack action to make a special melee attack, a grapple. If you're able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this replaces one of them." (Pg. 195 PHB) If you decided that due to the flavouring of the action that you mainly provided that it was both a grapple and a shove then I think that's a bit rude. These rules are easy to learn so either you, Katey or the rule reminding Tom should get these locked down

They're level 11 in THIS campaign. Charm Person works on humanoids, if a player doesn't read their spell and still commits at this level to cast that spell on something that isn't a humanoid... They know what's coming

He would have that spell as a Cleric (it's third level) but there are any number of things that are called curses that a DM might not let you simply cure like that. It's usually more fun to quest for it then hand wave it away anyhow. But you are certainly not wrong. Played right it could be a funny ending to the whole affair and an alternative payment for the trip too.
