Yeah, I was inbetween the 90s and 20s, and let me tell you: I really loved the lack of internet in the first few years until early 20s. Internet existed but it was kind of a smaller thing. This created a world that you were able to explore more, a world that you can be curious about. I think the existence of the internet makes people dumber now, since they are less independent as thinkers. Or even less intuitive. And gaming also was fun, that the way you could find secrets was often passed from one person to the other because the internet didn’t exist, so every game felt mysterious! And often filled with sooo many secrets… Urban legends even. (Like cursed game cartridges, which became creepypasta) KZbin had no ADs! KZbin didn’t have ANY issues with copyright, and you could upload copyrighted music to your videos! Nowadays you can’t. I love the internet, I grew up with it a whole lot too, but damn did I miss the time when… It felt like you could explore the world more, you know? It felt free. Very free. 😊✨ 90s to early 20s were the sweet spot of the internet! It existed but didn’t take the fun away from real life. ❤
