Ok first comment was to show support although I haven't seen the video yet. This second one is first of all to include the word "Baller" for some unknown reasons... And to say thanks and show appreciation for the immaculate content and the quality of delivery FOR FREE. Many takeaways for a fellow low stakes grinder, whether it is the strategy talk, or the overall approach (being more dynamic and flexible, taking time to think every single decision, paying more attention to your environment before planning a hand...). I been watching your content for quiet some while, first time was the little talk videos for motivation, by that time, you had probably already started shot taking HS, big admiration for the quality, consistency, and work ethics. I aspire to be like you one day, whether I make it to HS or not. Thank you sir! Keepitcoool.

that hand when the utg limped and you raised, and co go all in, with snap call from utg, its actually a 100% fold, what utg limp call 1bb and call 80bb with, must be always AAs and KKs, with the blockers to both hands, its a very easy fold, that goes for AK and QQs

Great video! I play like this too and have a tough time finding the right bluff bc it's tough to think through the blockers and pick the combo to bluff in game. I've started to RNG all those checks and use my best guess of bluffing % for my range to pick spots to fight back. I thinj it's helped. I'm much more aggro although often with the wrong combo 😅
@ShowofForce
@ShowofForce 4 ай бұрын
It’s less about the right combo. More about attacking weak ranges and when you think they overfold, you just overbluff with your range.

Good insights. The only caveat I might add is that there ain't no accounting for taste. Live players play so off key that a 1-2 or 1-3 session often turns into a bingo game. Baller.

I use back door draws as cr or rr more then obvs combo draws, hand plays super face up in those spots i find. I push my edge and equity hard. Play ever opponent to their ranges, only thing is it is very swingy, perhaps im too aggro? When not hitting can get very expensive and when hitting can win 10 buyins+. Currently on a 50k horrid stretch where i cannot win no matter how far ahead and obvs not hitting big draws. Very frustrating and sad time.

I have a question about the hand at 56:05. How is this "not a thing" with the OB on the flop, I thought it was relatively standard to OB rainbow A high + another broadway card flops BTN v BB but you seem super surprised by it. I wondered if you had anymore insight into this.
@manolisskouloudis9317
@manolisskouloudis9317 4 ай бұрын
that is true.same goes for AQ5 on the beginning of the video.almost pure overbet or check board vs BB .I dont agree with a lot of spots in the commentary.ATlow rb is fine to play b33 b25(not range) but OB is a fine option as well.

Baller - Do you find a great deal of difference between rush poker and regular poker? Because players have less time to think through their hand, it's almost like playing bullet chess... where they are making less optimal plays due to time constrain. And would you deviate from a traditional strategy when playing this form of poker? What kind of adjustments would you make?
@ShowofForce
@ShowofForce 4 ай бұрын
There is definitely a difference, main one is that at regular tables the game revolves more around the fish. Zoom I think more regs auto pilot so it’s easier to exploit them.

Baller!. At 45:35 my tought is that villain with that size is too much skewed towards a J. Is a mistake thinking this way? These are spots where i ruin my whole mental game and i'm too result oriented 'cos i don't know if i'm over or underbluffing. If i fold i think i'm too passive and i should have follow my gut. If i bluff raise and get called i think i'm an idiot. If i bluff raise and get a fold i think i was lucky...

One definition is "passive". And the opposite is "aggressive". Young tough guys like it but most people don't want to be aggressive to others. It's much better to say active. I'm not aggressive, I'm active. It's kinda psychological trick. You remove negativity from your mindset. AF - activity factor.
@jeffshackleford3152
@jeffshackleford3152 3 ай бұрын
That sounds like some corporate double speak nonsense. You want to be aggressive ie crush the enemy. You do want to be active, you want to kill.
