Hey friends, this video was quite theoretical, do you like this type of video? Do you want me to do a part 2 to this where I go over some examples of this process in action? *EDIT: Part 2 is here* kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3XViYB9bt2meMU

please do it! Also part 3, part 4 5 6... will watch whatever you film

id really like to see you do this process in a live play scenario (single table of zoom would be great)
@tasteofboji Жыл бұрын
Definitely would like a part 2 or even 3+ with boards or spots that are a bit more complicated. Possibly also multiple examples in the future to talk about contrast. In this case villain turns a lot of draws and does have more intuitive bluffs but maybe highlight a spot where you think it's more difficult for average regs to find the bluffs. Maybe in this case a bottom card pairing rainbow turn, to point out how difficult it might be for our opponents to find the bluffs

Hi showofforce, thank you for thi video, I really appreciate It. I think that this type of video brings a lot of value to the community

A good point is also to define the value thresholds and estimate what proportion of thin value bets should vilains range contain, and then estimate if people are able to bet those thin value bets. If we think they are not, it will potentially shift the value/bluff ratio towards overbluff
@ShowofForce Жыл бұрын
It is important to determine the actual value range that villain uses, not solver value ranges yeah
@TheRedLoop Жыл бұрын
I'm one of the "boys" in your analytics bro💪. @1:13 very true. Solvers will only show GTO thresholds. This topic can be made into an 8 hour video or more. But you covered all the key points very well and in good time👌. Video quality continuing to improve, Big Daniel💙. Cut's and edits are well-timed and overall production is really coming together.

Appreciate the detailed feedback and thanks for noticing! Did put quite some effort in condensing this haha

Subbed, thank you for the vid. 5:36 there is a mistake, you said bluffs 43% when he bets 75% potsize. It is 30% bluffs and 43% fold equity needed to make BE bluff, when bluffing.

Curious what do you think about this particular texuture in this configuration -> overbluffed or underbluffed?

Thanks for the video, very interesting and well explained. One question though, when you don't know your opponent, should you call or fold with your bluff catchers ? As you don't know if he will over bluff or under bluff?
@vojtechmatulik1292 Жыл бұрын
He said that, use population tendencies. In general majority underbluff. You can also use RNG vs unknown and call 25% of the time or something like that if you thinl its better

why cant villain have AT or A9? Maybe my pf is off but I think sb should 3bet ATs 100% and maybe A9s
@noThankyou-g5c Жыл бұрын
to be fair to you theres only 1 combo of ATs and 1 combo of A9s which is probably more like half a combo bc i dont think it 3bets pure 5:45

It's only a simplified example to illustrate a concept, no need to worry about specific ranges

I will love examples on this, not in real game, maybe better in practice mode, how to really learn to do this effectively in game.

AQhh example, u didnt give ATs or T9s in a value range which I think is always value hand there. Maybe not 100% every combo, but still.

Why 11 value combos? You said all sets -> 9 combos and 50% of AK -> 6 combos -> 15 value combos
@xiwu6448 Жыл бұрын
I think on any non draw completing river, you can find enough bluff combs to call almost always, so this process is not that useful in practice

That's why I recorded the 7:55 part; but yes generally easier to overbluff there

@@ShowofForcepopulation under bluffs in most lines. Some lines are over bluffed though. Think this is more important?
