Just found out my triglycerides went down 54 points and I now have a ratio in the optimal range. I followed these tips, and ate a keto diet since April of this year. (Also have lost 30 lbs, and walk daily for at least 30 minutes). Woohoooo!!! Thanks Kait for making me healthier!!

I figured out that the food pyramid is to be turned upside down and eat two meals a day. Breakfast is between 9 & 10 AM and the 2nd meal of the day between 4 & 5 PM along with an occasional 36 hour fast. No sugar/starch low carbohydrate diet and the weight comes off, triglycerides fall in range, HDL goes up and blood sugar drops and life is good.

As you mentioned about the blue light effect it has on you from your devices, I have the app on my devices already installed and so I set mine to on mode 24/7, minus -1 minute because you have to allow one minute in the 24-hour period that the blocker is not on for the 24-hour timer to be reset, so I set mine for beginning at 3:00 a.m. and it turns off at 2:59 a.m. and turns back on one minute later and stays on the entire 24 hours minus one minute therefore I don't get exposed to any blue light on my devices at all because the blocker is always on. So the use of blue blocker eyeglasses or anything else is unnecessary. and if you don't have a blue blocker app already comes installed on the device then install one (they also come under the name, Night Light) and use it the way I do So if you turn it on and set it to the highest setting in the red zone and you won't have any blue light at all, therefore no interference to your circadian rhythm, or to sleep, or any other adverse effect it causes.

And unfortunately i noticed most of the doctors here aren’t that vigilant in health teaching’ she advised that i should take 1 capsule of fish oila day but i already taking cod liver oil ever since.. All they do is ask and no suggestions.. Thanks in advance for the response.

My triglycerides were not high before I went on keto last August (76) but by my annual physical in January I had lowered them to 56 while raising my HDL from 41 to 76 which made my important trig./HDL ratio 0.74 when under 2 is good. So I'm good with it.

Yup I'm here because my Triglycerides was 999. I think the lab I deal with just stops counting at 999 so who knows what they actually are. I'm an active average build "healthy looking" guy. Everything you said in your vid to do or change I've been doing the opposite up until now. Thanks for the video!

I am doing everything you mentioned in the video and will be having my 3 year ketoversary in May. Last months blood results triglycerides 180, Cholesterol 227, HDL & VLDL were fine and LDL CHOLESTEROL 119. I take no meds at a healthy weight and really enjoy the keto lifestyle for maintaining my weight. I did have BPC the morning of my test, could this have made the results high?

I can’t hear all these exeperts with their “studies”. A lot of it is a BS. I’m eating and living healthy, no alcohol at all literally zero, only water, exercising, normal BMI, and still have high triglycerides since few years. Now mid 40’s. There are so many reasons why you might have them and it’s for everyone a different one. If it would be that general and easy to understand a human body then there wouldn’t be deceases at all.

Thank you for your valuable advise, however,I don’t drink alchohol, and don’t eat processed food,,, always cook fresh, With olive oil, butter or coconut oil, and since last blood test, my tryglyceride has increased from 144 to 244 but my HDL is the same as last blood test, 89. The only thing I think I may be doing wrong , is having once or twice a week , red meat. Any suggestions? 🙏🙏🙏🙏

65 yo male. My triglycerides have been as high as 2500. I have been on Keto since Jan 1, having lost from 200 to 185. Before I started Keto my triglycerides were 750. Yesterday they were measured at 1055. Even though I lost 15+ pounds my triglycerides went up 300 pts. I have been struggling with this since discovery in my early 30s. My plan at this point is to reduce portion size on Keto and implement intermittent fasting.

Let me tell you what helps me: 1- Walking every day, 30-60 minutes. Taking fish oil. Taking niacin. Staying away from sugar. Eating twice a day. No snacking. Eating fresh vegetables and fruits like apples, blueberries, and red cabbage. Sitting too much is not recommended.

Hello! My mother in having heart trouble and her cholesterol levels are through the roof. She eats a ton of butter. I have asked to to try cutting back on her butter and maybe eat more avocados or plant based fats. Do you still recommend that she continue eating high volumes of butter?
