When hooking up to the u guard will you also be able to locate to a person’s house or business instead of hooking up to the actual meter at the house?

Anytime you're dealing with power, especially with secondaries, you always need to go to the endpoint and bring it back to whatever is feeding it. For example, if you have a secondary feeding the house from the pole, you need to go to the raceway (meter set) at the house and bring it back to the pole. If you have a secondary pedestal, you will need to direct connect to the secondary pedestal and bring it back to whatever is feeding that pedestal. Power works in a weird way, but anytime you deal with secondaries, you always want to bring it back to the main source. You never want to start from the main source and bring it out; that's the wrong way of locating power.

Here in the netherlands, all 50kV and lower got digged in underground. For now we call that the medium/mid-voltage power grid. But i don't complain with most of half a kV wired directly in to my home at tree phase 400V AC. Toptop that's serious tension.

These Transmissions are standard transmission lines that go from switchgear to switchgear before they become distribution lines to feed businesses and homes. 750,000 volts.

I was doing a survey at a college and I needed to get into the campus, owned electric vault where the two 750 3-phase cables came in to the switchgear to locate them and the operating engineer was terrified to go down there. I get it electric ain't no joke but goddamn this guy was scared shitless damn near.
