I have got 6 floats, and my small pump is 14kg. So, i have 4 around the hopper end and two at the exit. This helps with the balance of the weight of rocks and pump. My high banker got straight legs. So i made them longer. Lenght is chest height. I will not be digging under water. I have a cloth sand anchor. My pump only needs a short length of heavy-duty pipe. And a small flexible blue canvas hose. For hopper height adjuster. My suction pipe i make a rough filter. It only needs it head under water facing up steam.

I can add a small hang down bag to keep my drink cold. I can also carry a small can of fuel. 5 ltrs.at the most. At idle, I use two 2.5 ltrs tank fills. It enough to run my high banker. My hopper is lower, and the drop-down legs only sit in the sluice tray. Easy to move up and down. Hint THE GOLD MINER. I run fake grass with diamond mesh 70mm x 40mm. Two, one welded on top of the other. So throw my shovel on. Move upstream. No setting up pump. Drop anchor. Drop legs, which are there. Take shovel off and dig or grab the yabby / gold pump. A rock on my gold pan, fill and drop in my high banker. I have a small bucket for cons.

Remember, your material needs to slowly feed off of your hopper. Sorry. Where it drops from my hopper, I have that small mesh sitting on miners moss. To reduce bubbles. I have a small rubber flap also. My water hits right back of my sluice. It's like a small rippley steam to watch. I let it some times to just let the water feed through. In the end. Lots of black sand. Thank you for the tips. I hope I am repaying. Maybe one day a day out on reedy.

Sounds like a great set up you should make a vid of it running. 👍

G’day mate, watch your video at around 7:46 onward. You’ll notice some shit escaped the weigh in. Not a gram escaped, maybe not even gold, but definitely something escaped (black sand). Not a terrible result 🤷♂️ Btw… Mo sent me to subscribe 👍 Cheers 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺

Oh really it was a bit windy when I was doing the weigh in. Ah I was wondering where all these new subs were coming from. I'll have to check out his latest vid and thank him. cheers

40 shovels = 0.6 If you did the 80 shovels you intended , you would of got the gram so technically I have to stay, unfortunate about rough use of your equipment maybe next time we will see the other half of that gram 👌😂

Probably get the rest off camera. Don't want to make the same video twice. 👍

you might have hit a gram if your bucket didn't break , you did very well , love the floating high banker , thanks for sharing.
@onthegoldagain12463 ай бұрын
Yes would have, I recon theres a good few grams still in there but it is difficult to work. Probably just do the odd few pans from there from time to time. Yer i love the floating Highbanker too, so easy to move spots. Cheers.

Hi Graham. I like to share ideas. I have a friend who knows reedy. It's different Creek. How can we talk. Next, where did you get your noodles. And cut the hole. Rope weight on your floating bucket. Front and back. Can be a bag filled with sand.
@onthegoldagain1246Ай бұрын
Hi Rusty the noodles are actually exercise foam rollers from Kmart they already have the hole in them, 40mm pvc fits perfectly. 👍

@onthegoldagain1246 thank you for reponding. Is there any way I can talk to you via email. I do not have lift up bars. I drop the hopper with shoot up spray. The material rolls up top of hopper. Same has Vo Gus, rubber matt's are good for clean up. I have a great system. That why email. I going to mount a small transfer pump on floating frame. Small drop hose. Then outlet to hopper with flex pipe. Now all day running, better flow, better sluice Matt and easy to move. Also got an area I like to have another go at.

I have a 10 inch high banker. A fellow in Tatong makes. I have changed the matting system. I have a good riffling water flow. I change legs so they can drop down to river bed, locking anchor bags, them canvas shopping bags filled or tent peg bags filled with the river sand. I mount the high banker different. My pump is light. Vo Gus use one in the past. The height of my hopper to the sluice looks lower. Less lifting height. I have also fitted a drop plate. To get the water to drop right back of sluice. I run a small piece of miners moss. The rest I talk to you alone.
