It's worth the watch truly. I just watched it for the first time this year after 30 years of having not ever seen it and I gotta admit, it's got some bad acting, but if you take it for what it would have been in the eighties. You can really appreciate how good it was in it's time.

The best ending ever. They had all of the right elements to make this movie happen. Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, etc. To have this movies chemistry connect really well by each actor who played each character connect to one another. Over the years as they daringly continued to make the other installments with most of the actors. The films continued to become great. The original touches my heart the most because Chris Lambert was captured in the perfect scene as they made his voice echo. Once the voice echoes and glass shatters from behind the scene becomes powerful. Powerfully enough to be drawn in. The scene is still my favorite for how the writers and screenwriters imagined it. If they ever decide to reboot the highlander. The issue would be that it wouldn't be the same. If they make improvements on the ending scene without making the scene Disneyfied and close to the original.
