Ante todo felicitaciones por haber progresado con respecto a los años anteriores. Es un logro sin duda. Viendo solo los highlights no se puede comentar realmente el partido. Ahora por lo que se aprecia en estos minutos podría decirse que hay mucho para mejorar. Primero no es posible que un jugador como Jantjies domine de tal forma el partido (o los minutos que se muestran, que alcanzaron para ganar). Jantjies no es un buen jugador y comete muchos errores tácticos. Cómo es que no salen a presionarlo para que se equivoque? Segundo, falta un número 9, es evidente. Bertranou y Landajo no paran a nadie y se dedican solo a pasar la pelota. Son buenos, pero no alcanza en este nivel. Por qué no le dan una oportunidad a Bazán Vélez? Sánchez ya cumplió su ciclo, que no es poco. Si los que arman el juego no atacan y mucho menos defienden, estamos perdidos. Se podría llamar a otros para los Pumas (por ejemplo a Pato Férnandez Fiant del Clermont). Los wings son buenos pero no asustan a nadie. Ahí tiene que haber tipos que te pasen por encima y salgan a defender a los que se vienen en picada, es decir a cualquiera. Montero es un número puesto para mí. Ya conozco las críticas, se dice que no defiende. Pues, que lo entrenen, que lo hagan mejorar en todos sus puntos débiles. Es posible. Pero igualmente los wings no son el mayor problema. Los centrales y la segunda línea pareciera que tampoco defendieron como deberían haberlo hecho. Es decir, falta potencia en todas las líneas. Vamos a ver que logra Ledesma con la selección. Igualmente sigo siendo optimista y les deseo lo mejor. Es mi humilde opinión.

Bueno estoy bastante satisfecho con la temporada que tuvo jaguares.. fueron a nueva Zelanda y ganaron partidos además de la buena racha que tuvieron .. llegaron a cuartos de final . espero mejoren los errores que nunca pueden arreglar . los errores no forzados es constantemente en jaguares .. lo único que le falta a este equipo es la disciplina y la solidez en partidos importantes. estaria bueno que hagan otro equipo y otra franquicia para que se roten con los pumas ya que desde que jugaron en la selección empeoró el equipo .. pero bueno . a mejorar y espero esta ves lo hagan.

The Lions at home with their strongest possible lineup were too strong for the Jaguares. They managed to prevent the Jaguares to play an open passing game, where they are lethal. Bautista Delguy is a future superstar. Marx is a top 3 hooker in the world already and when he's reached his peak, he'll be an undisputed #1. Aphiwe Dyantyi has some sweet kicking skill for a winger. Now somebody please explain to me how come Elton Jantjies is capable of having an absolute monster game like this in Super Rugby, but when he dresses bottle-green & gold, his skill gets divided by 3. It's like night and day.

Nacanieli Tupou Thing about internationals as far as SA is concerned is the lack of chemistry between players. In the past we used to have fly halves and scrum halves from the same club and a front row from same club now everyone is from everywhere. Elton needs a strong foward back and a scrum that plays with him i.e Ross. I also eltons mindset is wrong for internationals

Nos jugó en contra la cabeza, cometimos muchos errores y perdimos nosotros el partido. Hay ciertos jugadores que están verdes como algunos suplentes y otros que no dan la talla o les falta, habrá que ver, Lavanini es uno y landajo otro, por decir algunos. Fue una muy buena temporada igualmente, a seguir mejorando.

Eduardo Gomes en mi opinión Lavinni si bien es imponente por su físico no aporta desde el juego, no pone la pelota adelante, no tacklea, en fin, no suma. Por algo lo sacaron del equipo titular en esta etapa final y eso que en esta temporada anduvo mejor pero en las anteriores era una máquina de hacer penales tontos. Es una lastima por el físico que tiene pero la verdad que no aporta nada. Y landajo a mi me gustaba pero esta temporada no anduvo nada bien lamentablemente, dejo muchas dudas sobre su rendimiento, quizás si vuelve cubelli se queda con su puesto

igual hay que considerar que el rugby es un juego complicado, muy fisico y los viajes de esta competicion exigen mucho, son pocos los jugadores que se mantienen en alto nivel por mucho tiempo. landajo ha tenido grandes temporadas, esta fue su peor sin duda pero ha demostrado con creces que se la puede a este nivel y tambien a nivel internacional, y destacando. respecto a lavanini estoy de acuerdo, tremendo fisico pero mucho penal tonto y le falta estado fisico. paul oconnell, whitelock y varios otros no destacan tanto por su fisico (a excepcion de etzebeth y el monstruo retallck) si no porque están en todos lados, son una garantia en el lineout, estan comprometidos en muchos ruck, tackles ...etc. Eso le falta a lavanini, mayor estado fisico y demostrar que puede de forma consistente a lo largo de un partido destacar con su poderio fisico. le tengo fe si, es joven todavia y ya por lo menos bajo su cuota de penales estupidos.

Jose Ignacio Salamanca si es verdad landajo andaba en un muy buen nivel, el tema es que en esta temporada no lo ha podido mantener y bertranou ha rendido mejor. Si vuelve bien cubelli landajo la va a tener complicada en cuanto a competencia, tiene que subir su nivel. Y obviamente como decís vos el físico no es lo más importante, pero rescato el físico de lavanini porque podría aportar muchísimo al equipo en ese aspecto, pero la verdad que no juega bien, si bien cumple dentro de todo su función no aporta ningún plus al equipo, y hasta muchas veces nos perjudica, yo lo prefiero a alemmano

Es una desgracia que por culpa de Hourcade y Perez no se haya dado chances a otro apertura, Sanchez es valiente, gran pateador en distancias medias y cortas pero su principal defecto es que adolece de visión de juego, e idéntico problema tenemos con el medio scrum con la salvedad que Bertranou es mejor que Landajo y espero que a este último no le renueven el contrato.

In 2016 we beat the Chiefs in NZ. We also beat the Blues. Then we beat the Crusaders in the quarterfinals and the Highlanders in the Semi-Final. In 2017 we beat the Hurricanes in the Semi-Final.

Couple of horrendous mistakes from the Jaguares outside backs (15 wayyyy out of positionin a Jantjies kick through, then 14 trying pathetically trying to pick up a bobbling ball close to the line - instead of diving on it) in the opening 30 minutes... made it extremely difficult for the Jaguares to come back (although they did win the second half!). Glad the Lions won, because they are consistently one of the form teams, and will be hard for the Warratahs to beat in SA.
