Mater Dei throws the ball like a college team. Just unbelievable how relaxed and easy it looks for them. I know a lot of work got them to that point but damn are they something else. Also the schedule they played is as tough as it gets.

@MagicswishАй бұрын
@@Surgzown No everyone doesn’t recruit dude. There are actually places where it is against section rules and guess what, some coaches actually follow the rules. I actually new a basketball coach who was extremely successful and, get this, never recruited one player in 30 years. Big time HS sports have become something they are not suppose to be, but that is just my humble opinion. And for your information, I stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was 50 at the same time I quit believing in HS sports.

@@Magicswish yeah everyone whose anyone in high school football in today’s day and age recruits. Let us know where you think it doesn’t happen though. Because you shouldn’t be this delusional and clueless to think paid rent/ mortgages, no show jobs and money handshakes aren’t a part of the game. Recruiting happens in high school basketball. Just because you knew of a coach who said he supposedly didn’t recruit in 30 years doesn’t mean he wasn’t in fact recruiting. People lie, all of the time. Especially on the internet. Times have changed.

Most people in CA don't care about local HS sports unless someone they know is in the program. The only parts of CA where this is different is in small towns in the Central Valley, like Oakdale. Those types of towns shut down early on Friday for the game. But in the bigger cities, no interest outside of people who are part of the program. I mean, the Rams can't even sell out their own stadium against the Niners. Just too much to do here.
