Highly illegal Ballistic Prototype Knife.

I am working on a spring loaded ballistic knife. this was an incomplete prototype test. The finished product will have a stronger spring, a shorter loading pipe, either anodized or painted surface and an overall cleaner nicer look. comment if you want to see a full tutorial of another start to finish completed ballistic knife 👍

I tried firing mine one handed. It tumbled in flight and hit the plywood sideways. When the tube gets bent, it won't fit back in the handle because the tolerances are so tight. It's hard to tell if you fixed it while you're pushing against a strong spring. Very important to hold it steady.

I would recommend installing a lever system and a SAFTEY. You also should put a end cap which should double as the sheath so that way not only it'll be safe to carry around, but it will also allow you to actually push the knife back in. It may be a barely functional prototype, but you have to be careful because this is the equivalent of making a bow by bending a green stick and half and putting a piece of string on both ends. You got to be careful man.

Id suggest polishing all your edges and then oiling the contact surfaces would make it alot easier to get it to shoot. personally id go for some sort of detent system that way your not pressing on a moving piece.
