I am 46, I used to be a Multigroover around age 18/19/20. It was a fun time and very long ago, but still fun if you see some old friends and even your dealer walk by in one video...lol.

For sure that wasn't me on those parties (Germany and sometimes Netherlands, Peppermill) selling that stuff. For sure never me. I never ever would have done something like this. lol Dang how i miss those times. I was at the Peppermill when Shadowlands Terrorist presented Shadowlands Anthem. Unforgettable. Everybody went complete nuts. After that all of us listened to it multiple times a day.

I'm 45, it was a fun time in the late '90s. Last August i was at Mysteryland, the Thunderdome Stage was awesome again. And ofcourse Defqon 1, for other party's i do not have time. Work, kids etc. lol. Huisje boompje beestje. Weinig tijd meer voor raven/hakken en zagen.

Great doc! I grew up in the middle of this all and loved to party hard! Had the most beautiful raves in both Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Was in my prime 22yo and kick-starting the world.

Because I was there in the 90s I watch these videos like the one your reviewing now and I get goosebumps. I don't ever get them any more. The feeling you get when at a massive gig and it's heaven. I don't get that much these days. But watching these stories makes me think back, way back. Back to the future

As someone from the Rotterdam area I was in the scene at Parkzicht (which was mention in this video) and Energiehal, also here in a similar way smaller illegal parties at highway underpasses, hangars, warehouses etc. brings back lot's of memories.

I first saw my fiance at a rave (Thunderdome, Antwerp in '96). We got together at a rave on New Years in Rotterdam. Split up 5 months later, saw each other 6 years later again at a rave. And kept in touch for years just as friends, to get back together again in 2007. We're going to get married soon I hope, because off covid_19 postponed it. And we have a beautiful daughter. Really loved those raves in the 90's. I always saw a lot of the same people. And like Gabber means friend, it felt like we were all friends. All partying as one !!

That's the beauty of our raves... I've started going to them around 2010 but the spirit was stilll there (at least partly) and it's the best place to be ! Hope you enjoy what's coming for you with your kid !

although parkzicht was the one i usually went to, i did go to the multigroove a couple of times. all of it was crazy. first you go to the big party that week and afterwards, between 5 to 7 am, you'd go to parkzicht in rotterdam or clubx in belgium or multigroove in amsterdam or one of the other clubs i forgot the names of. good times :)

17:40 If you got really sickband tired of a former passion. Or it is ruined by others. It helps to take a step back, evaluatue and sometimes let feedback work the brain. Sometimes the real appreciation for what someone is doing comes later.

So good to hear that you don't highlight the drugs. It is part of every scene, the hardstyle scene is framed by foreigners which don't know how to use drugs. After 2-3 hours in a night festival you will see 100's of foreigners that have taken too much. And no I don't use drugs to go and party from 22.00-07.00 with 2-3 hours of travel not included.

I loved when he told that dude to instruct the MC's to pipe it down, cause most MC's dont know when to shup up. Especially in the mid to end 2000's when they started to use that annoying "heeyyyy hooo".

Maybe it's fun for you to know that most people in this documentary are speaking in a typical 'Amsterdam accent'. Not very thick, but still an accent. I wonder if foreign people notice this. Love your vids mate, keep it going.
