Tim is truly incredible! But all the Home Free members support each other in their solo and collaboration works or other outside ventures. Tim and Austin also have another group called "Sweet and Low Music Co.", which they share with instrumentalist friends Chris Chatham, Jeffrey East, Luisa Marion, and others on occasion. The Home Free family is bigger than you think! Love your devotion to my favorite vocal band, and its parts!

Tim is incredibly talented to this day still amazes me with his range. Austin and Chance also do solo work and have there own KZbin channels Tim -50-60’s Doo wop and Country Austin- Country,R&B, Soul and Musical Theatre Chance-Folk,Sea Shanties and Country Tim and Chance have collaborated with Peter Hollens And The Hound and Fox All channels a worth checking out

I'm pretty sure the solo work took off during lock down as Home Free was literally pulled off a European tour when the borders were closed. Home Free still released music during lock down but the guys were all home (2 in Tennessee, 2 in Minnesota and 1 in California) and had brand new home recording equipment and a lot more time on their hands. Then they just kept going even though they're back on tour.

Tim did have a bit of a solo career before he joined HF, he had at least 2 albums released. But you are right - thee lockdown not only curtailed travel, it gave theme the time and incentive to work on solo stuff. They had no idea if/when HF could tour again.

Great job guys! I’m a Tim want to be, I have his lows as I have hit all the low notes on a piano + 1 note but Tim has at least an octave on me in the higher ranges! Have loved his releases so far. What a talent. Your friend, low bass Kenneth.

The look of "what the $$$ is that sound coming from Tim" was priceless. 😂 Tim is a very talented man, and I think we've only tapped into what he really is capable of. Tim has many collaborations with Peter Hollens that you should check out. Tim said that he really loves 50-60s music and released an album which is fantastic. I've about wore mine out. ❤😊❤

I think that Home Free will stay together because they give each other time and space for their solo projects and won't get bored with just the group. Tim, Austin, and Chance have solo music, Rob has the movie review podcast, and Adam has his D&D circle.

Such a great rendition & cute video! Have always loved this song by Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers from 1956. Tim has such a great vocal range for these older doo-wop songs. Can't wait for the remaining videos from his cd. Also love seeing Tim's fur babies in the video.

Loved your reaction! Especially your faces when Tim started doing Tim stuff all over the place😂 A real "What The Foust?!" moment🤣 Tim said the "Pieces of me" albums (there will be more) are a reflection of his musical upbringing and journey. The whole album is awesome as are his songs on Patreon! As you guessed, HF is quite busy and Tim and Austin are writing more songs than HF could record. So they thankfully decided to release it solo.

Tim has sang with other doo wop singers, just real small local shows, for charities, places that dont take him far from his wife and home. Rupp will sometimes drive down and add his snazzy percussion to the mix on those shows. Speaking of Tim, you might want to add HF's cover of, "Forever and Ever, Amen" ...and his video, "Southerner in the Snow" to your list. The only one who really doesnt seem to have a musical side hustle is Rob. But he does have a movie review podcast called, "Avid Indoorsman" with his friend Beuggs (I'm not sure about the spelling) but hes the chubby blond guy who is shameless when he appears in their videos (Butts Remix). In short, hes the friend we all need. 😆

As Tim said, he loves Doo Wop so he’s made an album of it and this is one of the songs on there I believe and he does all the parts. Just showing off some of his 5 octave range for ya. He also did a whole album with Peter Hollens. They go way back apparently and were in a group together a long time ago. Try Misty Mountains with Peter if you want to hear some bass. I love that the guys get to do solo stuff to scratch an itch the H F music doesn’t. Tim does do wop. All the guys were looking for new outlets for their creativity when Covid hit. They were basically stuck at their homes for like a year and a half. Tim, Austin, and Chance started recording some solo music. Rob started a podcast where he reviews movies with friends, and I think ? 🤔 Adam does some D&D type gaming online.
