People saying he wasn’t world class , he was for 2/3 years possibly 4. Won the FA cup , league cup , 2 PL titles numerous golden gloves. He defo went up a level in the big games , unfortunately I don’t think he recovered from leaving city and he’s career defo went down hill rapidly. Seems that what people remember him for and decide to say he wasn’t world class , was a lot more to hart before the pep incident , achieved a lot. Honest & humble , respect.

He was a decent keeper. But i remember Pantilimon being much better than him but of course Joe Hart had the advantage of being England's goalkeeper, so Costel Pantilimon as a foreigner didn't had a chance no matter how good he trained or played...

Panti definitely wasn't better at any time. He was very below average.
@theghostofbabanovac7069
@theghostofbabanovac7069 Ай бұрын
@@russellward4624 Panti was a better GK in my view because he didn't blunder so much, he was more consistent and as my former coach said - consistency is the most important quality a GK can have. If a GK can manage to save what's there for him to save in terms of basic situations, he doesn't even need to be noticeable during the game, but he's confident in catching and parying what he SHOULD catch and pary then that's a good goalkeeper. If he's the kind of keeper who becomes the hero of the match today with tremendeous reflexes but the next matchday he fails to deal with a very basic catch and lets the ball trickle through his legs, that's not a good GK. You can easily make a top 10 Joe Hart blunders. I mean i don't wanna be harsh Joe Hart was decent but he was nowhere near the level of Man. City, Panti was also a decent GK, i don't claim for him to be the greatest or even Man. City worthy starter but in that particular situation when you had only these two Panti was a bit better in my opinion.

All different cases . Hart can’t play with his feet . That means he is out . Cancelo was a crybaby who wanted more game time even though he played more than most other players . Jesus not a deep striker . All these players are ok to earn ridiculous money . But it is business . Nothing else . And management must be tough . In PG case he combines it with being very successful. Cancelo lost out on more titles and champions league and won nothing with Barcelona , Jesus is a be warmer for arsenal. Joe Hart left and never played for England anymore It’s lonely at the top. When it comes to business , tough decisions have to be made . Guardiola makes them . He is not there to massage somebody’s ego . Toure was way past his prime and went on to play for not so great teams .

The real reason , as said by him … “ city were ungrateful “ and “ he wanted more playing time “. The truth is , Cancelo had issues , despite playing a lot , that the likes of Ake were getting priority , that’s why he thought city was ungrateful . Maybe he could not handle the pressure . He was happy to take a lower salary … in other words … can’t handle the pressure … But you seem to be “ in the know “ … Anyway who cares … people think that a manager must massage egos . He doesn’t . Cancelo left . City won the premier league . Nobody cares anymore about him . Ancient history . Good player , forgotten already. He played a lot that season but couldn’t handle being benched . Far better players than him , de Bruyne being one, have been benched . It’s a long season . Grow up FFS

@@wengelder9256 Cancelo never said "city were ugnrateful". When did he say that? And I do have a suspicion. Pep already wanted to get him out of the team when his defensive flaws started showing up. He gave him one game as RW just to say he gave him a chance in the team in a new position......and then Cancelo had a disagreement with Pep where he (Cancelo) probably got a bit angry. Right there and then Pep decided to move him on. Everything else Pep says.......including him "not liiking his team mates to get game time" is just BS. KDB had similar problems iwth Pep due to game time and he handled it differently, of course. And get a life. I humored you with an explanation, but you write too much and are to emotionally invested in criticizing these ex-.Pep players. You probably have a big agenda here, but i don't want a part in it. You aren’t a bad GK when you have 73 England caps and 2 premier league titles in your bag. The biggest problem was joes replacement, there’s no doubt Bravo was a decent keeper, he played for Barca after all, but he just wasn’t suited for the physicality of the premier league. The first thing I noticed was his size, he just didn’t look big enough to cope with the physical demands of English football, I think the rest of the team and especially the defence looked like they just didn’t have confidence in him, and as a consequence the team wasn’t where we should have been that first season. JH was brilliant in his time for us, and his contribution will never be under estimated. Enjoy your retirement Joe.

Don't take drugs kids! Hart was nowhere near Ederson. Ever. Hart went to Serie A and was terrible. He was poor at claiming crosses. In Italy!!!!! He was poor in The EPL and found his feet again in Scotland.

Pep had 3 years of prime Manuel Neuer so joe was just a joke. England hasn't had a goalkeeper for 60 years.
