This animated Crucial Conversations summary will teach you the communication skills you need for that next ultra-important conversation in your life. Whether it is at work or at home, mastering crucial conversations is an essential life skill that all of us can get better at.

☝️ Smash that LIKE button... if you are going to crush the next crucial conversation 👍👍
------------------------------------------
Crucial conversations are those high stake conversations that we have all had in our lives. Whether that was an unexpected chat with your boss, a break up with partner or having to give a friend or a neighbor some negative feedback, they are an unavoidable part of life. The stakes a high, the emotions are high and the opinions vary - a recipe for disaster... unless you have the right tools to handle them.
This is where "Crucial Conversations - Tools For Talking When Stakes Are High" by Paterson, Grenny, McMillan and Switzler comes into play. With the help of this video summary, in just a few minutes, you'll be able to understand how to master those life changing conversations in your own personal and professional life. Not to mention, the video is completely FREE, while you'll have to spend a few bucks to get your own copy of the Crucial Conversations book ;)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Check out these awesome FULL courses (no charge) right here on KZbin:

2) How To Stop Procrastinating (FULL COURSE) - • How To Stop Procrastin...
Or some of the viewer favorites playlists:

4) Most popular videos - • Most Popular Videos
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The best course of action is the following - watch this Crucial Conversations summary and learn about the best communication skills and tactics. Apply them in your life (or at work). If you are happy with the results (as you most likely will be), head over to Amazon or to your favorite bookstore and get yourself a copy of the actual book. This way you dig deeper into these teachings only once you have proven they can work for you.
This Crucial Conversations summary gives you not only what the book is about, but how to actually apply it. Because, let's be honest, you can read the book, or listen to the Crucial Conversations audiobook... BUT unless you start applying what you've learned, nothing will change in your personal and professional life (isn't that always the case?!)
Watch this animated summary, take action, apply the tactics to your life and you'll see dramatic results. I had the intention initially to do a Crucial Conversations summary PDF, but honestly, an animated video review is so much more fun to create, and consume.
Mastering important conversations has never been easier - it only takes 10 minutes.
As always, post your comments and questions below. Smash that LIKE button and let me know what book you'd want me to summarize and review next.

Crucial conversations are a part of life! We've all had them whether we wanted or not. With these tactics, you are going to feel a lot more confident and prepared... and you might even initiate one yourself :) What are some other books that help with communication?

This is a great way to communicate! I have made this a way of life….however beware it does not work with a narcissist. Nothing does.

Nothing works with a narcissist? I am curious what you think about the techniques mentioned in Chris Voss’s book, “Never Split The Difference”. He is a former FBI hostage negotiator, and he teaches what he used to convince people of all kinds, including sociopaths and psychopaths, to productively communicate with him and convince them to trade hostages in exchange for jail time. Some of his techniques work well with narcissistic personalities.

Those techniques and informations are amazing. But you need a good avareness over yourself, your actions, your thoughts and your feelings. That is crucial and that is absolutely not the norm

Good summary of crucial conversations; however, one does not control emotions but manage them to recognize what is being felt and and decide the appropriate actions in response.

I am in the last chapter of this book and cannot say enough how incredibly good it is. A trainer from my company recommended it. One challenge I find is being able to apply all the lessons in a single dialogue. I know it’s unrealistically to think such is possible but the examples they give w/ the dialogue are quite perfect. Any tips on how you apply these little by little in your interactions to improve?
@SuccessfulByDesign
@SuccessfulByDesign 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it is a wonderful book indeed! There are not one-size-fits-all ways to apply this as it really depends on your way of communication. I would say pick the one(s) that most stood out for you and try to weave them into your communication. Let me know if that makes sense?
