Would love to see more in depth unwrapping. Hadn't ever heard to smooth normals but harden them at the uv seam. Could you explain more?

When you say you would draw out a mesh, are you talking about MeshBalloon?

Ahh draw or drag out a cube to add volume in the back. Should make the back of the combined asset easier to work with in the low poly state.

As far as I know its using the same algorithm
