I can definitely, DEFINITELY hear the studio ghibli influence. It sounds like something I would hear in Howl's Moving Castle or The Wind Rises. Thanks for this, I just finished highschool today so this was perfect. Excellent work

Thank you!! Yeah i'm pretty sure the chord progression is the same or similar to Howl's Moving Castle. I wish you luck for your plans post highschool!

Is this made in MuseScore but played with something like FL Studio?, Great music btw!

Thanks! it was made in musescore 4. I used muse sounds for the strings and used a soundfont for the piano

How do you compose such a waltz? What's like the theory behind the chord progressions and stuff
@SionGang5 ай бұрын
I start off with the melody by singing out loud. Then I write it down on musescore. and then I put the chords down. For the chords, its usually related to the notes of the melody. For me, I imagine the sound of the chords that seem to fit the melody and then write it down. Usually trying to find the bass note of the chord helps alot. Then, you could build the chord on top of the bass note. Playing on the piano helps a lot as well. The chord progression: 2, 5, 1, 6 makes up most of it. I think creating a singable melody that sounds good without chords is the key.
