Hey! It definitely moves faster in terms of trends and growth potential, but it’s a risky platform so diversification is key. You can still make TikTok first content and then cross-post to other platforms (without the watermark) to avoid putting all your eggs in one shaky basket! - T

@@gorgeousbeauty6723 there is a high chance that it won’t be banned, so don’t throw in the towel yet. :) And look at Instagram as more of a “conversion” platform than a hyper growth platform and that will help change your mindset around the value and purpose. Especially as it becomes harder and harder to grow followers there. What’s your overall goal there? Are you building as a creator or as a business owner?

KZbin!! I just crawled back after a year break. I was kind of mad at social media this year and took some time off from it while building my business but now it's time to get back to the grind. I really did miss making videos! These predictions are interesting. As much as I'm glad the generic tips and read my description while generic video plays trick are getting annoying for other people (thought it was just me), I still see them doing mad numbers.

@@thestellarelite KZbin is where it’s at!! 💪 I think a break is definitely necessary sometimes, especially if you feel creatively stalled or frustrated. Then you can come back refreshed and not forcing it which makes creating such a chore. You did the right thing. Glad you’re back to it! Those generic videos will likely still do numbers for a while simply because with a compelling hook people have to go to the caption to learn more and the video repeats, but numbers only tell one story - if they aren’t converting to follows or purchases than it’s just vanity metrics we see on the surface level. KZbin is definitely the lead for long-form, but we are seeing long-form storytelling and serialized content thrive on TikTok. It will always come down to the type of content though, and if something can be presented or said in a more concise format that should always be the choice. What type of content did you test long-form for out of curiosity? - T

@ cooking videos. People used to like when I slowed down and put up how much etc in text but now quick cuts and voiceovers too work better. I’m even doing better on TT! I really think it depends on content/niche.

There's another set of people who still love the classic long form recipe blogs with the stories included etc, and then other people who are like "get me to the instructions asap!" so it really depends. Hi Nour, we're not huge on Snap personally. It doesn't feel like our audience uses it (creators and business owners looking to learn about social). From what we've seen, it's better for lifestyle, travel or other sort of creators that aren't in education. I know they have a great pay scheme where creators can generate revenue, so that could be worth it. Give it a try and see how you go! - C

Great question! We still haven’t heard about any distinction to badges being a part of their roadmap yet, if anything it may be something they just include in the “about this profile” section vs introducing colours like X. We’ll definitely share it as an update here if that happens though! - T

We're referring to more specific calls to action. Things like "Comment WORD and we'll send you our strategy template". They don't like "engagement bait" CTAs like "like this post" or "follow for more", you just need to be more specific and intentional - C

So I posted a carousel with inspirational quotes and added music suggested by Instagram and I want to boost it but when I tried it said it will boost without music. Why is that if I am using music on Instagram? I want to boost it with music because you said if there’s music it has potential to do much better

Hi Candice! So yes, while music is better for organic posts, you can't boost or run ads on any posts with music from Instagram's library. I believe it's a licensing issue. You'd need to use something like Epidemic Sound to keep music on an ad. Annoying, I know - Craig
