Incredible coincidence that I´m seeing this while 27 cities in the Estados Unidos are in deep unrest for racial disputes. I put the TV out and see something that gives me peace. God wanted to see this. Anyway, I live in the most beautiful country on Earth: Costa Rica. Excellent performances from doña Miriam Colon (a boricua actress) and David Spielberg who was half Mexican.

Economic class has more to do with it than racism. Normally, the higher the income, the higher the class of people. Although it is not a hard fast rule. The first black family moved in next door 25 plus years ago (best neighbors ever). Out of the 400 homes in the neighborhood, 20% are now black/minority. Most all are college educated, 100k to 250k income. Home value has doubled in 10 years.

Great episode, but I wonder what might happen to Bill/Guillermo now. Those other council members probably didn't magically change their point-of view just because he "came out." He'll obviously stay in the neighbourhood, and probably be a useful advocate for the family buying the house and other future minority residents, but is he still a member of the association? And there are any number of ways the homeowners association could make life hard on these residents, just by manipulating the rules. Jonathon and Mark's assignment has obviously ended successfully again, but they didn't solve the larger problem at all, I don't think. I hate to be negative, but this ending left a big gaping hole.

@@jestonalwin-stillhavejoyal7826 Maybe putting a few more of the neighbourhood residential on the committee, preferably minorities and people who are closer to the lower half of the wage scale. @@janetthomson4958 hahahahahahaahaa....Have you just started learning English ? For your education : "Couple is now understood primarily to refer to two when used as a bare noun ("they make a nice couple"), but is often used to refer to a small indeterminate of two or more when used in the phrase a couple of ("I had a couple of cups of coffee and now I can't sleep.")."

Great episode. I grew up in a multi ethnic and lived in all white neighborhoods. I prefer the multi ethnic neighborhoods. Great generational gatherings and learnings experiences. I cant lie, the food is a bonus!

Bravo bravo another home run from the Highway to Heaven team. Racism has a dramatic effect on children it took me years to get it sorted out in my head. This was a wonderful subject to tackle.

Unfortunately this is something that happens more often than we know, where someone might change their identity to be better perceived by society or have a better employment/ salary! It's not only in the US, but all over the world.
