Highway to Heaven always warms my heart. I remember watching it back in the 80’s when I was in my 20’s. Glad to find the episodes and watch them again. Other programs can not measure up to Michael Landon and victor french and the scrips and episode themes which managed to touch my heart. They still do. They bring back memories of key events in my life. Other shows simply can not measure up

Agreed. I miss these days when people had more hope and compassion for their fellow man. I like Michael landon.. but i seem to like Victor French's personality a bit more. But together they made great films. I was about 9/10 years old when i started watching highway to heaven. I felt so warm inside when lying on the floor watching this show in the 80s. I long for my childhood. Well the good parts anyway.

@@kendallrivers1119 I can't believe its been a year since I left this comment. Wow! Yes, I remember watching when I was a kid in mid to late 80s. At that time it was on once a week on channel 2 or 4 or 7... at 9 pm. It was a great show. Sometimes it was really depressing; the story. It dealt with real life scenarios. My husband passed away 6 months ago and I haven't watched it since. I just lost track of my routines. Like for example I'm at my local 711 drinking a coffee ☕ and just watching a video on KZbin. I don't like sitting in the house because I start thinking too much and get myself sad again. So I take a walk up to 7 11 where I'm around other people. I started coming up here in March when my job shutdown and so did the rest of the world. Its become a habit. My job opened up full time again so I'm not spending much time here which is a good thing. Not the safest thing for a girl to do... stand in front of a 711. Thank you for your reply 🙏 😊

The problem, really, would be finding a producer willing to go for it, and scriptwriters willing and able to write this kind of masculinity into an ongoing series. That's where the bottleneck would be; it's not a "feelgood" show, or a "feelbad" show, its ALL the feels, and a bit unpredictable; it'd be a financial gamble no-one in the industry would want to fund, I fear...
